I just watched the 3 first episodes (the only 3 available >_>), but I liked it quite a bit. I know Cloud and Tamad are totally into it (granted, it's a loli based anime), but who else in here is watching it? btw claiming mio.

I am not sold on this one really. I'm watching it consistently, but am not so into it. It's mildly amusing. Also Ritsu > Yui > Mio = Mugi _________________

I like it. Nothing amazing, really, but it's a good time waster and gives my fridays meaning now that I don't have CLANNAD. _________________

I do like it. Granted, it isn't GROUNDBREAKING or anything, and it sure as hell isn't perfect, but it's still very enjoyable. Strong cast of characters for the most part, the only character I feel is tacked on is Tsumugi. I'll discuss more when I'm not lazy later. _________________

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Date Time Language Regional Options->Regional and Language Options->Advanced tab->Language for non-unicode programs I guess I mispoke(mistyped?) in my earlier post. Unicode isn't an issue because it will work under any language option. Foreign programs that refuse to run are generally having problems because you need to change this setting. _________________

If you never installed it it asks you to use your windows disk to do so when you switch. |
AppLocale also has some success with Japanese Visual Novels, and doesn't require you to constantly go through the Control Panel and restart your computer every time you want to switch to Japanese and back.
It was designed for XP iirc, but works for the most part on Vista. I'd imagine it still runs better on XP, though, since many games require Japanese Locale just to get the install through, and Vista acts weirdly with outside programs modifying the Program Files directory.
If neither works, there are some games that actually require you to be using an authentic, full Japanese version of Windows just to run. If nobody makes a crack, you're pretty much screwed. It's rare, but it is possible. This doesn't seem to be one of those cases, though, since everybody seems to have got it to work on US Windows.

I only watched the first episode. Its Beck minus the stuff I liked about Beck but with added moe to make up for the lack of Beck.
