First arc wasn't all that bad. After that it just got too long. Also i was introduced to the atrocious fanbase around that time so I dropped it.

Still makes me very sad. Everybody in my school who likes it calls themselves an anime fan, which means I'm forced to suppress my powerlevel while people just starting out on anime with potentially good tastes are forced into watching ****.

Shippuden anime is currently in the best arc so far so I am content with Naruto at the moment. The manga hasn't been anything all that interesting though, but I feel that Naruto is coming to an end soon.

Well considering how amazing the last episode was... I hope they keep that animation quality and all-around greatness at least until the end of the current arc. Then they can go back to being horrible after it... what comes next? Sasuke vs. Deidara?

Tried to get into Naruto so I could get 10,000 views off of ****** artwork but couldn't stand 90% of the episodes.

I did like the artwork in the first two manga volumes. Checked some of the more recent pages and everything looks half-assed now though.

Yup exactly. This arc is widely regarded as the best (far as I know), so on this arc's battles (this one, plus the one where sarutobi died), the animation was infinitely better. Of course, even in that episode, the few moments it skipped to naruto's training, the animation was the same as usual.

Yeah, Naruto will probably show up as usual and own. I really like this arc mainly because there is a big lack of Naruto until the end, and the focus is on my favorite character Shikamaru obviously.

I have mixed feelings about the Akatsuki members though. I like and hate both Hidan and Kakuzu, but at least they're better than some members.

Itachi is a pretty damn swell guy, especially after that arc yeah... but he's related to that horrible Godsuke guy so I cannot forgive him. ='(

Zetsu is my favorite Akatsuki guy tbh.
