Yeah, she has white hair and strands of brown around the braids. Her overall color scheme is different shades of green and white trim with either silver or gold. Her umbrella will probably be a deep forest green or black.

Generally she tries to be as fun and outgoing as she can but due to some circumstances that's not always the case. Maybe Spamus can post the doodle of her when she's "less than bubbly."

But of course. Just a doodle I did in about 5 minutes.

I'll join again of course, but I think the forums died as soon as I sent that in, so, nvm.

Anyway, here's mine. I guess the face was a little off or something?

....and like always, I hate the quality.

Ooh, I like her hair. She looks like some kind of waitress?

About her face...I think it's her eyes. They seem to be a little too far up. Or maybe it's where her mouth is placed. I'm not too sure since I'm no artist myself.

Also her socks/leggings look like they're going to fall down....like they aren't tight enough or something.

The eyes are the issue on the face, they're up too high. Typically the eyes will be around the middle of your head. So just move her eyes down, and maybe her nose a touch, otherwiase it's pretty nice stuff.

The one thing I noticed right away were the hands; they're far too small for her body, and her arms are a little short at the wrist and that as well. Along with the eyes being too high up. Also, a note for ears, their length is regularly the tip of your nose to your eyebrows.

Otherwise, really nice! She looks like a student of some sort. Also really like the hair.

Yeah I think most of the things that seemed out of proportion were there because originally I was trying to draw a more aerial view, which I obviously decided against halfway through. The small hands were also kind of from something I did while inking.

Anyway, a little info on her. A friend of mine said she looked like a Cecille, which I think actually fits her pretty well. She's a student who works as a detective during her free time, and she can be considered a bit shameless due to the way she'll do nearly anything to catch somebody. She is witty and intelligent to the annoying extent.

Well I dunno if I was supposed to do the info but I'm a bit stuck on her lol. Maybe I should get another pic of her up?

Fire away with info, it's all part of the original character idea. More art is always good.

Now for a discussion topic. What are some pet peeves you guys have regarding costume design? Colors you don't like, hairstyles, etc.

I'm personally not a big fan of the color yellow, though I will use it for trim and such. As for hairstyles, any sort of freaky do where the hair is sproinging out of the top of their heads annoys me. See Mack from Lost Odyssey or Jam from Guilty Gear to see what I mean.

Pretty much bright colors in general... I'm kind of high on earthtones atm.

And that whole totally-impractical-but-looks-"cool" anime style overall; I'm more interested in modernish stuff. Especially suits because suits are v hot. (I've got a few ideas I want to try but for some reason haven't had a chance to do yet, like those amazing paisley ties I see in Belk ads. <3<3<3)

Like you, I also don't like crazy wackass unrealistic hairstyles. Gravity exists. -.-

I looooove drawing dresses. They're way fun to design and way fun to color because of all the shading involved... <3 Shame I have a significant lack of female characters... But good thing men are just as pretty in dresses.

Hey, we should get together on iScribble sometime...

Any OC, Skythe, no matter how plain or uninteresting you think they might be. I also like characters with normal clothes, because I find they tend to have the more suprising personalities.

On the topic posted, I seem to have something against using the colour yellow in clothing. I actually do like the gravity defying styles, especially when it's specified the amounts of hairgel used to contain it. :'D I'm not too fond of leather for clothing, just because I can't draw skin-tight clothes to save my life.

I'm not picky, I suppose.

I've been trying to work on a sketch of one of my main females for a new story I'm working on. Short, messy brown hair, wears shades majority of the time, young apperance. I'll submit it once I get it done.

Minnane, I think the problem is that on the left side, the face is too pointed, if you rounded it a bit I think it'd look better. I like the outfit and hair though.

I'll post some OCs later, I've made a few more <_<

But you know paisley ties are hot.

Y'all can tear this up if you want to put me in my place. :')
