| By dating, I meant first, second, maybe third dates, not "lovers" as you stated. If someone's idea of a first date with me was to sit on a couch all day and talk, well...I'd think they were a gigantic creeper, to be blunt. _________________ Take heed from the turtle, for it cannot go forward without sticking its neck out. |

| I get ya. I'd think so too if it was early on. If you mean it that way than its a different story. |

Which is why you gotta take them out to do something first. You guys can end up walking around the park and chatting there. I love it when that happens. |

| I'd probably just do something I enjoy with her. Taking a walk and getting to know one another, watch a movie (or even anime we both happen to like), or play video games are the main options. |

Right, walking and talking is fine. Sitting and talking is not. |

Who says you gotta walk and talk to make it interesting. Sit on a park bench or something. But you still should do something before that if it's an actual date. |

| Right. I'm not disputing that at all, and I've not said anything to the contrary. |

| First/second/third date NEEDS something as an alternative, both to save you from potentially being trapped with a boring person for 4 hours and to save them from being bored if you start talking about something they're not interested in. It's easy enough to establish common interests on the (at least) second date though, so after that you should be doing something you both enjoy or not doing anything at all. _________________ |

| If he doesn't think you're a full-time girlfriend just because of the distance, then he's not really committed enough to make it work, if you ask me. Yeah, it's great to be together, but simple communication is the basis of any relationship. _________________ AWAKEN. AWAKEN. TAKE THE LIVES THAT MUST BE TAKEN |

| I hope it was bad writing, too, because it sounded like he was hinting for a new girlfriend. XD
Hopefully he'll move up to Victoria if he decides to go to UVic, if not, when I finish university next spring I can move down... |

| What is it about relationships that turn people in to intolerable pieces of ****? Good god, I went with a friend to do our Psychology experiment at the mall, and he brought his new girlfriend with without telling me. So they just made out, held hands, and flirted the entire time while I just walked around with them at a safe distance. Talking to his girlfriend's little sister (who was also there for a Psychology experiment, but not ours) was the only thing that kept me from grabbing a bee that kept trailing me and shoving its stinger into my arm.
