I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, but I am saying you should definitely try more stuff before passing judgment. Because it's really not that you've missed obscure rap groups so much as you've only heard the very worst examples of mainstream radio rap.

Do they count as what? Rappers? Yeah, that'd be the genre. They're probably the first ones to satirize the gangsta rap **** and still do it well without sounding like anal queefs (ha ha that means farts).

lol, Illmatic's my favorite album, and after that 36 chambers. I'm really feeling the production on Illmatic and it's just Nas' style and lyrics it all goes together so well.

Rap is my fav. music genre, I like Big L, Kane, Doom, Gang Starr, Hiero, G Rap, Krs, Biggie, Outkast, Pharoahe Monch, Q-Tip and pretty much the whole Wu.

I don't like rap particularly, but I listen to it sometimes.
Off topic, but some kids in my mythology class made up a rap about two off the gods. man, that was some lmao material. and my ears =(
