| If Namco made an M-Rated Tales game that heavily undertook the aspects of depression, lust, mass rape and genocide, and featured most--if not all--of the party characters dying in violent and painful ways for their righteous cause over the course of the game and staying dead, would you play it?

| Most Likely. Definitely, if your actions/decisions are what determines who dies, and who lives. |

Too much of an asspull. Having inevitable scripted deaths makes everything seem more hopeless and grimdark.
Swordsman: Turned into a human pincushion. Healer: Overuses her powers trying to save her helpless comrades, causing her heart to explode. Nuker / Summoner: Reduced to a smoldering corpse (alternatively: human popsicle) by a better enemy nuker / summoner, or picked off by an enemy archer. Archer: Picked off by an Australian. |

| this would instantly be the best tales game, provided the violence reaches mortal-kombat levels of silliness. fatalities are a must. |
