Ping pong, ching chong, if it's a dialog scene I expect dialog, you had an opportunity to flesh out the characters that I didn't have you do elaborate BGs on under the assumption that we would be able to cover that stuff in-game. Am I to assume that the RP section of this is going to be minimal and we just want to slay dragons all day, because opportunity seizing was limited to uh, Skythe.

And this is going to be a really damn short deal if we don't bother with RP. Not saying that's bad, but tell me now so I don't leave you guys for another awkward day or two expecting character development.

No, people were asking me for an update when everyone was in the middle of conversations nobody seemed to be wanting to have, so then I asked you to disperse so I could update without cutting everybody off mid-sentence which i ended up doing anyway.

give us some time to actually come to grips with what we're doing and we'd probs be better off

You compressed time slightly too much, though, now I find myself wondering how to introduce my ambiguously wolf/dog animal companion when we're already in the cart.

I'd figure an ox cart goes slow enough that a large dog could follow it without much trouble.

Also it would be easier if most characters weren't mostly jokes.

More like I'll make some kind off OOC note that some kind of wolf/dog is following, and unless you really want Spot checks, whoever feels like noticing it notices it, and my guy is like lol, actually that's my dog.

It sucks but it is functional.

Uh, my characters name is mostly a joke but thats about it, I had no idea that Gnome Bard was going to be legitimate at all. I'll be taking this very seriously. Just a btw.

How do we handle active checks btw? As in, checks that our characters make that we're aware of, as opposed to NT rolling for us without telling us he's rolling, to see if we spot a stray Great Old One in the woods or something. Do we roll and trust NT to believe we're not lying (I think we're honest enough to not lie, and I don't think any of us are really afraid of the consequences of most failure) or does he roll for us and reduce our work to... not much?
