I'm almost done with my second character. :3 I just need to figure out a useful starsign skill. D: Would you guys like to see a picture of him? I sketched and colored it last night. I'm going to attempt Anna at a later date... I have the hardest time drawing girls, sadly.

Ooh, I do! It's nice to have an actual visual so you can see how the character's creator intended them to look like. |

Since we have characters of the same element. I can try and help out with some ideas. =3 My character's starsign skill in the wood element is 'Nature Intuion' (I didn't spell that right. ^^ Which means he can talk to animals and control nature. I think...It's been a while since I looked at my character's bio. ^^ PS: I wouldn't mind seeing a picture too. I did draw some pictures of my characters, but the pics are on the offical fourms which have been closed down for now. >.> Just how long are they going to be with whatever they are doing? I don't know if they did this to tick us off or they are actually fixing the fourms.

Well, here he is~ I won't give any specifics until his bio is finished, but like you said Toku, visuals are nice. :3 @Martel: Hmm... yeah, I've had a few ideas for starsign skills, but I just need to make them more practical. And, if possible, that would help him in battle. And what's the color for Wood elements in the blackout? I'm having too much fun in photoshop. x) And they better be fixing them. D:

@GM: Wouldn't the actual pictures be hosted somewhere else (e.g. ImageShack or Tinypic)? I didn't think you could actually host a picture on the forum itself. Or maybe I'm wrong; IDK. @Adonais: Nice! And a damn sight better than anything I could draw . As far as a starsign skill is concerned, the one idea I keep coming back to sort of conflicts with Time a bit, but fits with nature as well... controlling growth and decay. Causing a chain-link fence (or someone's sword) to rust and become brittle through rapid aging, or causing a patch of grass to grow to a thicket to conceal yourself from an enemy. Controlling processed, refined, or otherwise complex heterogeneous compounds is more difficult than a basic element (e.g. steel vs iron, bronze vs copper, etc.) Just an idea, or maybe a springboard to something better - thought I'd throw it out there. _________________

@Zen: Thanks! I'm glad you like him. I'm new to the whole coloring thing, so I was really proud of how he turned out. =) As far as the starsign goes... I came up with a similar idea, except it worked backwards. Like, instead of making things grow/age, he would drain them. This linked to wood because of the fact that trees have roots which suck water and nutrients from the ground. I was thinking of giving him like some sort of "life drain" type of move, which would transfer energy from other things into himself. *shrugs* Then there was "oxygenate," which played into the whole wood thing because, well, trees produce oxygen. This would allow him (since he is fairly athletic) to keep going longer in his activities and such. But I didn't really like that idea because it wouldn't really help him combat-wise. Then there is the ability "splinter" which sounds really cool; alas, I have nothing for it yet. D:

Your drawing is really nice Adonais! Makes me excited to see his bio. For the starsign skill, it really looks like you covered all the bases that I was about to. So good luck with figuring out what his skill will be! Btw, the color for wood is orange.

My first thought for a Wood starsign skill is similar to Sandra's Encapture ability with an extra attack kind of function to it... Essentially, the character's able to control roots (and, for the fun, let's say vines too) of plants so that they can use them to, say, hold someone down and/or whip them... Of course, you might want to extend that to dead roots as well, since I think Toku mentioned that there wasn't much vegetation around anymore... But, yeah...just an idea... _________________

Buwahahaha. Blackout! ... A little hard to see, but yeah. I'm a nerd, sorry. And thanks, Toku. Glad you like it. Just as soon as I get this starsign skill down, I'll PM his bio to you. @Isenet: Well, GM already has a sort of control over nature, so I wanted to take a different path. But thank you for your input! And like you said, the lack of vegetation would make that ability a little limited. In the light of that, though, you've actually given me an idea! *scurries off to write*
