Tales of Hearts R localization confirmed (Winter 2014)

My order got cancelled out of nowhere even though I got the email with the preorder DLC code in it. :/
I'm not in a huge hurry to get the game itself since I don't have the means to play it yet, but I'm kinda worried about how difficult it'll be to find it.

This just happened to me too. F*** you paypal this is the second time you've done this to me. Note to self DO NOT use Paypal for preorders. I immediately reordered like the email they sent me told me to do, and the DLC code they sent me yesterday still worked, but every time I try to install it, it has a broken icon and says it can't find the install file (so it's like, failing to download at all).

EDIT: I stand corrected it's staying it can't find the APPLICATION they belong to which makes sense because uh I don't have the game yet.

Is this your first Vita game? You install DLC by booting up the game, or by tapping the update icon on the game's Live Area. I have no issues with downloading stuff for games I plan on buying later, the content just sits in the notification menu.

Chase Link is pretty fun.

Though I just gotta remember all these doodads mechanics.

God damn, it's a real shame they didn't dub it. I want to hear that silly accent.

It's quite obvious now the game was intended to be dubbed but was probably scrapped for budget reasons. Inserting accent without a dub is a very silly thing to do and rarely works, imo.

Makes since since Kor mentions that Kohaku's accent is really thick.

So.

This game is giving me a hard time to consider who I have to main as....and I don't even have the last two members yet...and I hear Kuznite is pretty fun.

I main as Kunzite. He's pretty fun if you like to spin things to oblivion.


I'm about 20hrs into the game and the skits just keep getting better.

Anyone knows what dialect this is? Looking up some of the words in google gives me Scottish, but Scottish doesn't seem to use all those accent marks and Scandinavian letters...

Spelling it like that with the Ös does make it sound scottish somehow :')

Possibly both? Like Scandinavian Scotland-ish

I've seen people say Canadian (the Atlantic provinces), Scottish, and Norwegian. My only other guesses are Icelandic and Greenlandic (though I have no idea what the latter sounds like)

Norway doesn't use Ö iirc. Sweden does, though. Also Iceland and Germany of course. The letter kinda sounds like the "i" in "girl".

This game is great.

Well, I think I prefer my Tales handheld now I guess.

I prefer the original. To me, the only thing this game has better is Cal being playable.

I just prefer the story, music, and gameplay elements more in the original than in the remake.
