Top banner?

So, the Reservia Banner isn't loading for me.

Is that just my internet connection going bonkers?

Or does it happen to more people?

Had it happen just once a little bit ago. Seems to be fine now.

I think it's something on my end yeah. =/

My laptop doesn't want to load the page completely, and apparently the graphics of the banner are the last thing to load.

The banner is still there, the link still works, it's just invisible.

I always found it odd that the page seems to reload the banner every time. It's like the browser isn't caching that image or something.

Yeah that happens for me too. o_O

I changed the filehost to imgur. Notably, tinypic made a change at some point that redirects image links that they used to use to an actual page, which might explain why it seems as though it reloads on every page. Contrast:

They even tell you the link that redirects is the "direct" link, rather than the uh actual direct link. I'm pretty sure this is just a ploy to increase traffic.

EDIT: Yup, that fixed it.

Yeah I'm starting to think that maybe we should apply a limit of like 125x or 120x for avatars, maybe 150x or 175x for signatures...But I haven't really looked into how to modify avatar or signature limits.

Oh and yes, the new banner is excellent. Are those the only 3 Tales games getting localized for NA currently? There was that Reve Unitia thinger but I don't know if it's coming here.

Yeah I just picked the games that we know are coming out in english right now. It'd be really cool if we do get Reve Unitia though.

Also, a limit for avatar and sig sizes sounds good to me.

I've set the avatar size limit to 125x125, it doesn't apply to preexisting avatars though. As for signatures, I changed the CSS so it automatically cuts it off after a certain height. I've set it to 150px for now, but feel free to change it (Display > Pictures and Colors > Colors > CSS Stylesheet, scroll to the bottom).

Oh, and I've said it in another topic but it can't hurt to repeat myself, the banner is lovely~

OH. So that's why the text at the bottom of my sig got cut off. I thought I was going crazy because it was still there when I went to edit my sig.

I guess I better change my avatar.
