Oh there's a Victory Re;Birth in the works now? Cool!
Too bad no more easy money Sad
Though honestly, with DLC and Colosseum, money was still easily obtainable.

I guess I should've posted that in here instead of Today in Gaming. It's pretty stupid that the entire Neptunia series has been remade. It'll be interesting to see if all these stupid Vita ports keep happening once the series hits the PS4, I really hope not, we should be seeing simultaneous releases like New Atelier Rorona or God Eater 2: Rage Burst, at least, if you're not gonna make a PS3 version. I could understand a release schedule like Akiba's Trip 2.

I know. And I'm worried about these new episodes. What if the story is rewritten like Re;Birth 1?

Hmmmm... Maybe the Neptunia series will be re-released on PS4's PSN store, but that's just wishful thinking.

Also, I'm hoping in the Victory Remake, Gust, Nisa, RED, 5pb. and Cave will be in it, and Rei can be a post game playable character. And Gust can cut shop prices in half with her in the party.

So was the entire Arland series, though Rorona deserved it at least.

But yeah I heard Nisa couldn't make it due to some issues along with Gust, though I don't know why Cave couldn't make it Sad
With Victory, I don't think there'll be an overhaul like Re;Birth.

Weren't they just ports though? New Atelier Rorona was the only remake as far as I'm aware.

Wait a minute, Cave is in Re;Birth 2. And Victory's Remake, well with the exception of the Remake system in place of the Scout system, the scene in Chapter 2 would have to be redone. One thing I hope does not get in is the Challenges. Sure they give stat boosts, but "That was practice"? So far Nepgear has barely over 12,000 misses under her belt.

They remade Meruru too. But that's not the point.

And who got the platinum for Re;Birth 1? Me, grinded a lot thanks to the Clione in Nights Dimension but it was worth it.

Oh Cave IS in Re;Birth 2 then? Sweet!
She was one of the better characters to use in mk2 for me lol
And I like the Challenges! XD

And yup, got the plat here. Clones took too long, then I realized I had DLC and did the coliseum and got 100mil within 15 min.

Did you manage to beat the lv. 900 colosseum challenges? If so, how did you do it?

Oh, no, I only bought 2 DLC caps, so I capped at 699 for everyone. Didn't really need it haha, plus it saved me a dollar for future avatars. Are you stuck at the level 900 challenges?

Ooookay. Anyway, one thing kinda bothers me about the remakes. In Re;Birth1's true ending, Neptune turns Arfoire into a good guy, er girl. But if that's happened, how does Re;Birth2's story work?

Yeah, I mean Arfoire is a human now. My guess is the evil energy dis... oh wait, Mk2 was set in a different Gamindustri. Re;Birth2 will take place in the same local. But I've been thinking, what is the dialogue for when Nepgear stopped Noire from killing herself, thus leading down the Holy Sword route.

Well, the dialogue was different in Re;Birth1 as well, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the script a bit. I don't know anyone who's played the JP version, though as I said, I'd rather just wait to play it when it comes out next January.

Looking at the trophies list it looks pretty easy, as in more easier than Re;birth1 lol no more 100mil credits!! As well they also kept all the endings?

Yeah. I managed to beat all but the Mascot match. BTW, did you notice somethings that are off about the game? Like say Peashy being called Pish, the Lowee and Leanbox processor units having the same description as the Lastation Processor Units? Or Toh-Kiden cave being calledv Donkong Ruins on the map, teeny spelling errors, or some characters arms flickering? Me thinks the game was rushed.

But enough of that, Whose excited about Re;Birth 2?

Here's the ending order I recommend for everyone:
1. Conquest (Best to get it out of the way first.)
2. Maker
3. Normal
4. Planeptune
5. Lastation
6. Lowee
7. Leanbox
8. Holy Sword (By now there should be more than enough trust)
9. True

Start with the bad ending but turn the volume off. Best not to relive the trauma, but like pulling off a band-aid, just get it over with and out of the way. Like Noire said this planted a seed of trauma.

So, what is anyone elses recommended ending order?

The Toh-Kiden cave name error totally got me too, until I went on GFAQs.
The translation was pretty rushed, even more Idol PP I caught a few spelling errors, though I've seen spelling errors in a lot of games so I can't really bash NISA for it. Hope Re;Birth2 will be a tad more consistent.

Honestly, I usually get the true end first xD
But yeah usually I'd get the CPU ends at once, and I'd definitely want to get conquest out of the way..... RAM and ROM ;__;

I'm fine with your ending order, though from what I see most people do true ends only/first.

I know. I felt really awful about that. Why did she have to kill Rom and Ram?!

Fortunately the Holy Sword ending doesn't have you killing off the CPU's and CPU candidates. And doing the True Endings last will make them seem better in comparison. Which is why I always save them for last. It may not work for everyone though.

Also, NISA did not work on the remakes. It was just Idea Factory and Compile Heart.

Because you need you kill everyone for the cursed sword of course....!
Multiple points I was nearly brought to tears over this ending, and twice I did end up crying over the actions that take place. It's just...horrible. I don't know *why* they put such a gruesome end in this game. I just felt so bad doing it. Good thing it was the first end I did.

Okay but seriously, the creators wanted to add a darker theme into the game, hence the M rating.
NISA just publishes the games, no? I'm not sure for translations though, but you get my point.
But anyways, I'm glad you can use 4 party members this time. THANKGOD!!
In Re;birth1, 3 just wasn't enough.....

I know, but it's how the series got started, three characters at a time. And you were not the only one who felt sickened after the Conquest Ending, but like I said about the Holy Sword Ending, you don't have to kill anyone. My guess is, after fulfilling certain requirements, Nepgear prevents Noire from killing herself and gave back the shares to the other CPU's to make Sharicite Crystals to infuse the blade with, substituting for the lives of the goddesses. A much better ending. And glad it's in Re;Birth2. Saw gameplay for Re;Birth3. Remade the story. Hope they get the cast together.

So, any idea what DLC characters are gonna be in, like MAGES., Plutia and Peashy?

Is the Holy Sword ending a new ending?
We all know characters like Falcom and Cave are gonna be in. Razz
(All I need is Falcom to be happy)
HOPEFULLY you can inherit your character DLC from Re;Birth1, though this is NISA so who knows.

And how was Re;Birth3? Same as Victory I assume?

1. Yes, Holy Sword is a new ending. It's actually an alternate path from the Conquest ending. The difference: Rom, Ram, Uni and the CPU's live through the ordeal, so you won't feel so bad.
2. That makes sense. Considering your Username is Falcom.
3. Histoire is confirmed to be playable, as are the other oracles.
4. Yes and no, yes it has the same dungeons, no because of the different story, remake system, no chirpers, and the fact you have to grind for Cash again.

Oh cool, so basically a good end version of that horrible abomination.
That means Mina, Kei and Chika are playable? REALLY?!!?!?!?!? WOW, I am actually excited for that!

As for the last one, we all know the remake system makes it harder to farm for credits, though if it has DLC then Colosseum will make it easy as always Razz
Different story will be intriguing though.

Yes, I even described it. There's even a boss rush.

My guess is, after fulfilling certain requirements, Nepgear prevents Noire from killing herself and gave back the shares to the other CPU's to make Sharicite Crystals to infuse the blade with, substituting for the lives of the goddesses.

Yup. Kei uses a sword, Mina uses a Staff and Chika uses a Spear.

Plus, I can only imagine the cost of Processor Units. They're not cheap. Did you know that in Re;Birth1 the Plutia and PCF-XXX processor units are 10 Million Credits each. That's 120 million. You'd need an enemy that drops 4 million credits just to make those ends meet.

Other than that I'm kinda excited for Re;Birth2, Re;Birth3 and Victory II. I'm also looking forward to the Noire game.

The game's out in Japan, I'm pretty sure if we asked someone who played it we can find out how that ending works lol

Emil12345 wrote:

So pretty much similar to what their respective CPU uses. Razz

10mil credits isn't too much by end game after Colosseum grinding lol but yeah I see what you mean.
I actually did not bother with processor units, and stuck to default.

Wait, are we getting the Noire game....!?
Also, any updates on Ultra Dimension Action Neptunia U?
