DLC Compatibility

Eventually, I gave in and bought some DLC costumes for both games anyways. Those for Xillia I have bought ages ago, those for X2 only yesterday.

At first I assumed that the DLC costumes would only be forward compatible; the ones for Xillia usable in Xillia 2, the ones for Xillia 2 not usable in Xillia 1. Imagine my surprise now that I have managed to make it work exactly the other way around....

I have all the sports gear in Xillia 1, but not yet in Xillia 2, as I still need to download those for Xillia 2 properly. You would think that both games use the same DLC, but apparently they are separate files.

Finding the DLC was not easy either. Apparently Muzet's costume is only accessible through the in-game Playstore, while the other DLC is only accessible through the normal Playstore... Which is quite ridiculous and convoluted if you ask me.

What I haven't been able to figure out yet though, is how to make the (DLC) costumes of Xillia 1 work in Xillia 2.
Has anyone had any luck with this?

Muzét, Gaius, and Ludger's are listed under Tales of Xillia 2 and the rest are listed under Tales of Xillia on the store.

Also, to use them, go to the item menu and go to the last tab.

So what you're saying is the sports costumes for Xillia 2 are compatible with Xillia 1? If so, SOLD!

I've only managed to get Jude's butler outfit to work so far, but the DLC I bought for Xillia won't show up for me.
My christmas and school outfits... =(

I now have all the sports gear activated in both Xillia and X2 though, so I have that going for me at least.

I'm missing a few of my DLC's, also no Ludger, Gaius or Muset costumes in the store. It's probably cos I got the PAL version and they haven't updated the store, but still sad about my missing costumes. Especially Jude's Leon costume ;(
