That does suck, I hope we can at least control the Seraph and use them as onscreen characters? I've always loved Tales, well one of many reasons, because you can set anyone as your playable character/on-screen character, its a little thing I really appreciated, not being stuck as the main character and having everyone be able to be in that main spot :/
I'm going through the twitch now looking for the opening, that's all I really want T.T (and to figure out if we can control/be onscreen as Seraph) Though to be fair, considering they are invisible, I could see why Seraph may not be onscreen (though they could have them hearing different things than the humans hear since they may catch people talking when they think no one is there)
EDIT: I LOVE THE OPENING ANIMATION SO MUCH, but there is very little Alisha I truly wonder what her importance to the plot is, I'M SO PUMPED TO EXPERIENCE THIS STORY. I feel like they've kept a lot under wraps for once.

I've read comments saying it's ACDC and a Dio sounding like song, lol. Made me think of western rock immediately right at the beginning with the guitar.
Heard the Giganto theme again, but they remixed it with different instruments. So we can say it's the staple "Big Area Boss monster" theme of the series now?
I'm hearing more Go Shiina music. It's like he blended Legendia and God Eater for Zesty. Zaveid's

So about Zaveid. I haven't seen much recent discussion about him, so I'm not sure if this has been talking about on this forum already, but...
What is the deal with him having a pendulum weapon like Dezel? And, on closer inspection, looking an awful lot LIKE Dezel except with introverted hair colors (also Dezel has a Luke costume. SUSPICIOUS). We all know that if you have two characters with the same fighting style, one of them is going to replace the other at some point. That's like an unwritten Tales law. Zaveid having a Zelos costume kind of supports that notion. Dezel leaves the party for whatever reason and then Zaveid would join as the replacement wind divine with pendulum weapon.
So... Idk, thoughts on all this?

Some of the spoilers in gamefaqs is making Zesty look like a Tales that is interesting to play for the plot imo.

I found something on my own. A yotuber is uploading a playthrough. You can see all the progress they are making here and it's all in a neatly organized playlist. So if you just want to watch an hour or two you can stop when you want.

I got to see the one particular spoiler confirmed in a livestream.

Dezel is super dead. It's a little hard to explain exactly what happened, but yeah. Basically he tried to kill Simone in order to get revenge for his bff who died a while ago (and it had something to do with Rose and a prince-turned-hyouma for some reason), so he took over Rose's Kamui mode. Some weird purple eyeball tentacle monster stabbed them and then Dezel was badly hurt. Also the monster got its clutches on Rose. So Dezel used Zaveid's gun to boost himself, and then Sorey fired his essence at the monster with that same gun. Rose and Dezel had a sad little talk in purgatory and then Dezel officially 'moved on'. Zaveid arrived on the scene late with Starbucks and pretty much immediately usurped Dezel's place in the party.
I have no idea who that bff was and whether or not he has anything to do with Zaveid, though. All I know is that the bff was wearing the clothes that Dezel now wears. A lot of other stuff happened in the stream, but yeah, that was The Big Thing.
If anyone else has details or wants to correct me on what happened, feel free!

You watch it all and she really just become irrelevant after a certain point, I should have known after watching the opening, but I'm still sad. First she was said to be heroine and now is being this? She is my favorite girl in the party, best personality and very lovely design. But it's like at one point they made her less important and I just still don't know where Rose came from. I like Rose, but boring personalty, generic design...
And about Zaveid.

I wanted to play as her so so so badly, now she's not permanent and just kind of leaves and never comes back? :/ I mean its something Tales has never done but maybe for good reason. I'll hold off judgment until I play but...... Also the ending seems a bit short and abrupt, but apparently some reviews said there may be story related stuff in post-game content? Not sure how true that is but this game doesn't seem evenly balanced from what people have talked about in terms of characters getting screentime/story time/closure, but then again it IS gamefaqs a lot of their comments are far from sensitive or full of critical thought
Also, I'm curious as to why Alisha got the heroine denomination, yes we've had non-playable and non-with party heavy heroines, but the heroine denomination has always meant either A.love interest or B. VERY VERY plot important character with a bond to the main character, or both, I'm confused as to why the spoilers currently show her as neither A nor B, I've always held B as more important but if she's not even that, its confusing. She IS Sorey's catalyst though, that is pretty darn important in and of itself
