Kinda sorta spoilerish (not really) but I will be talking about events that happen here, so whatever. Anyway, It is explained that Seraphim can infuse objects with something (it wasn't mana, I think, but something that I cannot remember) and in doing so those objects also become invisible. They make a big deal of explaining this.

And then in one scene it's mentioned that the innkeeper was surprised to see Sorey floating in the air when he was carried unconscious by Mikleo. I suppose there are reasons for that - they needed the innkeeper to see Sorey, and besides that, maybe Seraphim cannot make other beings invisible. In this scene I'm actually thinking it would have been smarter (but less comedic) to have transferred Sorey to Alisha somehow before entering town, with Mikleo and Lailah invisibly helping her support him so it wouldn't look so out of the ordinary, but whatever.

Now, I just got a bit further and Mikleo is holding a book and a guard in the room is mentioning a floating book, and so does the dialogue in a nearby skit. Nope. I'm sorry. Mikleo can most DEFINITELY make a book invisible. You introduced this whole idea into the plot to explain things away, why are you then deciding not to use it.

It's a rather silly plot hole to be pissed off about, but it still bugs me.

I just thought it might be tiring for some Seraph considering Mikleo only knew about the process from Gramps I just thought he didn't know how/couldn't yet. I also thought Mikleo would be the type of person to not do it on purpose to freak out people he didn't like LOL but I totally get where you're coming from

For my take, they can infuse objects (I think it is mana) for everyday life, like equipment bought from human stores, weapons and stuff. But I don't think Seraphims would go out of their way to infuse mana on something that they'd take interest to for only a minute or two and wasn't theirs to begin with. Like, marking someone else's stationery with your signature of something; that's just plain rude. And if it's irreversible, that just brings more annoyance if my favorite novel is now invisible so I don't think Seraphims would want to do that unless they hate people. Though I doubt it's irreversible since Mikleo and Sorey (and Dezel) can share armors fine.

In case of floating Sorey, he might not be able to infuse living being (oh god the horror of seeing a naked floating man). Do know that when it comes to Sorey, Mikleo can be pretty urgent and protective so it might have been that Mikleo is just that anxious to get Sorey on bed as soon as possible. He is the heroine of this story after all. I ship Mikleo and Edna though.

What I am interested in is, how do the dogs look like to normal people when Dezel picks them up and cuddles them.

I don't think it's irreversible - they can make objects from their own realm, like the pipe, visible to humans after all.

But if it takes a lot of effort, then that would make sense.

IIRC, Mikleo says that it takes, in fact, more effort to make thing visible. I think, it was the same skit where he mentioned that mana infusing is making things invisible to humans.

There is a skit with Lailah saying Seraphims can make themselves appear in mirror (common ghost story) if she focus hard enough (like when applying makeup), but I've never heard anything about making things visible to human.
