Mini Marta

I have a question for anyone playing Zestiria:

I got some attachables of Yuri, Sophie, Jude, Milla and Lloyd.

My question is for the Mini Marta and Mini Ludger, do you need to beat DotNW and Xillia 2 for them to appear or just make a Save File in their respective games and just leave it at that? What I mean for the latter is, can you just start the game, make a save file, then leave it and hope to get the attachment?

Just make a save file, I haven't gotten very far at all in DotNW and I got the Mini Marta

Okay then good to know. I'll just start the game, make a save at the inn and get the attachment.

BTW, where's the first save point in Xillia 2?

Update: It didn't work. I booted up DotNW, saved at the in in Luin right at the start of chapter 1, booted up Zestiria, but nothing happened.

Update: never mind, turns out you need to start a new game with the save data in order to get the attachment.

Though starting a new game = not happening for me at this point.

This is what I'd like to know. I'm halfway through the EX dungeon and have the Yuri and Ludger ones in my inventory, but I have no idea how I got them and now I'm curious if I can get the others.
Edit: And now I have the Sophie one

I bet they're tied to Trophies, considering that you got Sophie after (I assume) completing the EX dungeon.
