Wait-- What Happened?

Hey guys,

I used to be super active about ten years ago if not longer. In a spur of nostalgia I decided to go check out the forums again to then find out that it had vanished.
I figured out that that the actual forum had been deleted/de-activated or some sorts and that, unfortunately, it's unretreivable.

Strangely enough, I saw came accross some usernames on this forum that still ring a bell.
Odd how nostalgia works.

Anyone remembers me?

I used to be pretty active in the signature and avatar section, I believe Jazzeh was often there too, unless my mind is playing devilish tricks on me. Haha.

Hey there! I think I might remember your name.

The official Tales forums were basically abandoned after Tara left Namco (even though we had a community manager from Namco's marketing dept on paper), but still kept up by Namco's IT and run by our volunteer mods.

The forums went down repeatedly around 2011-2012, probably coinciding with internal IT reorganisation - I got the feeling the fora were allowed to continue to run but forgotten or very low priority for the most part. Eventually a server failure lost about a year's worth of posts.

A few months later, Namco shut the forums down in favour of only having their one, official (and brand new) Namco Bandai forums for all their game franchises. Last I looked, it was a very sad community lacking in activity and level of discourse both.
