I do. What else should I do when I need to get healed? Use items? Never. Unless I'm desperate, everyone has no mp, and I'm on the brink of death. Otherwise I never use items. Except to see the enemies health.

I'm actually against using items in Tales games unless the situation really needs it (my healer died/there is only one remaining character/Symphonia's Retribution/etc.)

Huh I use quite my share of items.

I'd more quickly rely on my actions than on ally AI on some situations. Especially if the spell takes forever to cast.

I make sure to have at least one Healer in my party in EVERY Tales game I've played. Sometimes two. (*cough*Tales of the Abyss' Natalia and Tear*cough*) I hate using items, really. Like most of the other people who don't spam items, I only really use Orange/Pineapple Gels and Life Bottles on my Healers. I rarely touch my Apple or Lemon Gels.

The only time I used items over healers are during my low-level ToI run, because you literally needed them every few seconds. Good thing there isn't any lag time.

Then again I'm so amazing I don't need much healing to begin with.
