That's the problem though. There's hardly anyone interested in LN/WN here to warrant enough discussion, even as a general topic. Same goes for manga discussion probably.

Guess I just have to tone down my weeab-level. Though it's only recently that I really take interest in LN/WN scene myself, so I'm also one of the filthy casuals when it comes to my taste in LN.

I mean in reality it's not, because it literally came from a comic and somebody on 4chan said "hey let's pretend this comic is about anime nerds" and it stuck, but it's just such a shitty internet thing to say. It's not something to wear with pride, and you shouldn't be shaming yourself either. We took back the words nerd and geek, so fuckin' use 'em. I don't think people even care if we call ourselves otaku anymore (even though Japanophile was always a better word,) there was a time where people rolled their eyes and mocked our kind if we used that word, but I don't see that anymore.

It's also a rather startling journey through the previous generation of both game engines and YouTube compression (ignoring Revelations and Unity, again.) Enter Rome is also probably one of the greatest video game trailers ever, IMO.

Anyway, I got Platinum in Sayonara Umihara Kawase+. Feels really good considering how challenging the game is.

Neg: Packing nearly all my Collector's/Limited Editions all at once = anxiety city. I actually found some spare bubble wrap and other packing material and started padding the sides for those because FML if any of those get damaged. Also: HANDLE WITH CARE in extra large lettering.

That said, I did get the Mugen Souls Limited Edition, which came with a friggin BODY SPONGE, which is arguably just as creepy (if not more so!), but it also came with two nendoroid petits, which kind of balanced that out. The rest of the bonuses with the Neptunia U CE didn't really push me to get it in spite of the daki.

Neg: I don't know if my parents just don't have any faith in me living on my own and being able to take care of myself or if they just refuse to give up their role in my life, but to me it seems to be very much the former and probably a little of the latter as well. They keep opening their mouths and saying incredibly stupid things that make me feel seriously insulted.

I seem to be the only one who understands this whole "getting the hell out of your house so I can be more independent" concept.

For Example:
Yes Dad, I want to be able to start working 9-5. Yes, you would still be able to go to work when you want to, why the hell would me getting there at 9 make a difference? Why did you respond as if it would be a problem and I'd be trampling all over your freedom? The whole idea behind me moving is to stop YOU from trampling all over MINE. I will be WALKING to work from the apartment thank you very much.

To be specific: as if he were assuming me going to work at 9 meant HE would have to do the same - in order to pick me up at the apartment or something - he said something like, "Well I would like to go to work when I want." NO SHIT, SO WOULD I. That was like, my WHOLE point.

f*** working 9 hours every God damn day, simply because you want to get into work at 8AM. That's an entire hour EVERY DAY that I'm not even paid for because I'm on salary! (To be fair, there are multiple reasons why this problem exists, but being able to just come in at 9 would fix the issue entirely.)

Pos: Most of my stuff is packed - just have a cabinet full of game systems and a couple shelves left.

Fick: Jesus Christ, so many boxes! I had no idea I had crammed so much STUFF into this one little room. Moving into a place with more space to myself is LONG overdue.

Congratulations on moving out. I always have a difficult time adjusting to living with my parents when I come home from uni, can only imagine out good that feels lol.

Pos: I picked up KH 1.5 recently. I know they tweaked the difficulty a tiny bit but I feel like I was better when I was younger.

Don't worry, I'm Canadian! And my parents aren't that crazy about it so I'm completely 100% safe! (mostly) My parents are from Guyana though, and things like that are just either not talked about or just regarded with the same disdain as mental disorders or developmental problems which are also not treated very well. I can only sum up their background's influence with the word ignorance because its complicated LOL

Fick: Been playing Show By Rock all day. I learned that a bunch of indie bands I like(Silhouette from the skylit, Kafuka, Asu,Terasu/Asstellus, 04 Limited Sazabys) are actually bands in the game so I've begun to have a great bias for the game.
Positive: My coworker joked about me dying my hair the company colours, so I actually did and it looks pretty good on me.
