| I always enjoyed seeing people post their figure collections, or talk about awesome stuff on the horizon, so I figured I'd bring this thread back. Also just because I'm going crazy over this thing from 3A Toys: http://www.hlj.com/product/THA44413/ActThese are the people that made those giant Metal Gear Rex and Ray figures, giving similar high quality treatment to one of the Vital Suits of Lost Planet 2. I don't really have a favourite VS in LP2 (unless you count Battle Armor,) but I'm tempted to get this because of how well done it is...The price tag however is disconcerting. They're also doing a Baylid with a Mountain Pirate figure http://myfigurecollection.net/item/165813 and if they're all the same scale you can probably mix and match the pilots. There's a 1/6th scale figure of the mercenary protagonist (the same 1/12 person paired with the Drio) and it's neat because you actually can see the man beneath the armour, which was never shown in-game...I wonder if they actually worked off of Capcom's concept art. | |

| http://www.hlj.com/product/HTT17580/Act finally a good Raiden figure, one not made by goddamn Square-Enix. Despite the high level of quality, Hot Toys' prices are a similar kick in the teeth as 3A's. | |

| The only anime figures I got are these two Gundams: Unless you count all my Tails figures... I also have a few plastic model mecha, if those count... | |

| I think "anime style" counts. There's no denying that JRPGs are very anime. | |

| Very true. Well here are some plastic kits of various mecha, along with a diecast model of a car from a well known anime: Bandai YMT-105 Hildolfr: Bandai VF-25 Messiah: Bandai VF-27 Lucifer: VF-25 and VF-27 in fighter mode: Kotobukiya Metal Gear Rex and Metal Gear Ray: AUTOart Toyota Trueno AE86 Initial D: And that is pretty much sums up all of my anime style and JRPG related model/figure crap I have lol... As for the future, I'd like to pick up that Vertex 1/7 Noel Vermillion figure and maybe see if I can find that Alter 1/8 Chika Ogiue from Genshiken sometime. Also want to pick up some more Bandai Robot Spirit mecha figures in the near future. | |

| That base for Metal Gear Ray is pretty great. Is that a Girls Und Panzer background on your PS3? (I'm assuming it's custom.)
I also need to correct my OP, I looked closer at the second Vital Suit that 3A Toys is doing. It's actually the Bleed, not the Baylid: same chassis for the most part, but the Bleed has arms, one of which is armored, the other is able to punch. Only the punching arm features a gun, mounted around the elbow, where-as the Baylid has two shoulder-mounted guns. This is better because the Bleed is my favourite Vital Suit, so I may actually bite the bullet if they produce that one. If they do go into production with it, I should also email them to double-check with their sources at Capcom, because they're got the name and model number all wrong and will f*** up the packaging.

| Yeah, the Ray's base is pretty cool. Rex has a base also, but it seems I left it in the box >__> And yes, that is a Girls und Panzer background on my PS3 | |

| Holy shit! That's an awesome figure. Even the game's figures look incredible. Note that there are two versions of this figure, an AmiAmi version that comes with Sol's old sword, and the regular version that comes with his new one. I wonder if you'll be able to switch between them in-game. | |

| Good to have you back, Seraph! My room is full of too many boxes right now to organize anything so I haven't really posted my stuff in ages (my computer room needs to be cleared out, I only really have access to about a third of it, and I need more shelves.) I was thinking that my collection was getting a little crazy but I don't think I have too many more figures than you do...Just really large boxes. =/ | |

| Well, I haven't received a new fig in like a year (budget restrictions will do that to you) but it's not like there haven't been any figs I'd wanted orz
And yeah, the Angelic Island figs are great. I'm waiting on a Takane from that line to complete my trio!

| Yeah, I looked into it more just now (I pre-ordered on impulse) and they actually made several updates to it. You could say that this figure is made more to look like the anime, while the original was more similar to how Takashi looks in the manga. original http://myfigurecollection.net/picture/50228&ref=item%3A27630re-release http://myfigurecollection.net/picture/1094597&ref=item%3A198656Since I only watch the anime I think I actually benefited from missing out on the original. I remember beating myself up for a while about that because at the time, I totally could've ordered it, but I only owned one or two figures at the time and was a lot more cautious with my spending. It was also only available from AmiAmi and Japanese-only sites, so when it went out of stock I was screwed. So yeah, I'm very happy right now. | |

| In the past few months, I've become an avid figure collector too. Mandarake is your best friend when trying to look for old stuff. Shipping can be a bit high though. Finally got me the Angelic Island Hibiki from there :3. I love it. Got a couple of Nanoha figmas too. Mah mfc btw: http://myfigurecollection.net/collection/DylDawg/&status=2&root=0 | |
