About time I joined a Tales forum

Hello everyone. I've been playing Tales games since ToD came out on the PS1. At some point in my life I stopped playing as many console RPGs, but recently I came back to playing Tales games and liked them more than ever. Xillia was incredible and Tales of Graces might be my favorite console RPG right now. I just ordered Xillia 2 a couple days ago, and I'm planning on going back to all the games I missed. I had played Vesperia on the 360 when it came out, but for some reason that didn't click with me at that time, and I never even finished it. Now I'm debating going back to it at some point.

I was originally a huge Star Ocean fan, back when Star Ocean 2 came out on the PS1, and played Tales games because I thought they might be something similar. Funny how Star Ocean has sort of fizzled out, while Tales is thriving more than ever.

Thanks everyone. I came back here to proclaim my shame at ever thinking Vespiria was not a good game. I have no idea what was wrong with me the first time around. I am playing it again, and Yuri might be my favorite character of all time in any video game.

Also liking the battle system, it seems to require a lot more precise button pressing and has some interesting mechanics. I can't get away with spamming as much as I do in Xillia, which is actually cool. Though Xillia has other aspects that are cool too.
