| Hello everyone! At my university I'm currently working on a project involving Robots! =D Really cool and awesome robots. But for now, my colleagues and I are doing preliminary/ explorative research into all kinds of robot related stuff, like the archetype of robots, what the questionnaire below is about: Questionnaire about Robots!Could you take a couple of minutes and fill it in? =D It's completely anonymous. You'd help me out a lot! Thanks in advance. :bounce: ~Sliv edit: would post a picture to get you all in the mood but that might influence your answers :heh: | |

I had a huge rush of nostalgia for toy robots as I remembered the first one I ever got when I was young. I might even still have it.... | |

| Fun fact: I've never actually interacted with/ touched an electrical robot myself.
I have held some wind-up toys at some point though.
Thanks =) | |

| Thanks for all the input from the questionnaire so far, everyone!
I have no idea how many of you (nor who) actually filled it in, but our total number of replies exceeds 70 right now =)
It's a great help! | |

| One of my friends at work made an 8 legged R/C robot spider. It is pretty badass too. Other than that, the only robots I have seen in person were toy robots and quad copters with GPS guidance and HD cameras mounted to them. | |

| A friend of mine is working with this adorable little shit for his research. Something about localizing and adding new feature or something. Little shit is because whenever I'm touching it, it whirs and shakes its head, dunno why. I'd like to believe the AI irl haven't advanced that far to discriminate among people, but... | |
