So to momentarily hijack the topic towards a sister series, I was doing some capture testing off the PC version of Guilty Gear XX# Reload (Which defaults to 640 x 480 and seemingly cannot be changed) in next-to-lossless quality, and am reminded again how much Arc System's graphics shoot resolution the bird.

It also leaves me with a 1:37 video at 467 megabytes, but I brought that on myself.

Arc System Works does not get enough credit for the magic they make with their sprites. Considering that they basically created next-gen sprite technology with Xrd (I realize they're 3D models but still, more games need to copy this technique) they're basically masters of the craft. I don't think anybody's ever impressed me more with sprites.

I got it like a day or two after I posted about it shipping, like usual. I wasn't expecting to actually get the Terumi code, but it's actually part of the CE package.

I finished reading the English story mode for CP and I have a very strong feeling that Celica (and Minerva) and Nine will become playable in the next installation. Jubei is also a strong possibility just because of how popular he is. He was beaten up in the story (by Phantom/Nine) but obviously they're going to be all "jk" about him being KOed.

They should focus on balancing the game instead. Azrael is dumb.

People have been saying that Jubei will be playable for ages.

The developers said that they think it would be hard to do so considering his small stature. It all seems pretty arbitrary to me.

If you check out the Guilty Gear Xrd thread, I decided to put off buying a PS3 again because I don't want this new generation to leave me in the dust, and Xrd will have crossplay with the PS3. ASW just spread BlazBlue too thin man, with random useless releases like CSII on the 3DS and CP on the Vita with no crossplay. I would've loved to play CP on the 360 (P4A Ultimax is coming to it!) but I'll just have to hope that they do a PS4 port of it.

While I'm on the subject of complaints, I'm still disappointed that XBlaze isn't going to be dubbed. Their excuse was that the lip syncing actually matches the Japanese VOs, but anime companies have been matching mouth flaps for years, it's a horrible excuse.

SIGH, I just enoy games with English dub far more than JP dub (excluding ToP GBA)
What a horrible excuse indeed, now I question whether to get this or not.

I main Hakumen, but I like to play for fun, so I do play with a lot of characters like Noel, Ragna, Jin, and Litchi. I haven't played too much, but I really want to check out Kagura and Yayoi. I want to learn how to play as Regal, er... Azrael, but he doesn't seem to be my style.

Does anyone else play as Haku? It seems they took away the ability to attack directly out of his counter attack, which was my main strategy. Anyone else have this problem?

I just realized something. At first I thought it didn't matter to me that Chrono Phantasma wouldn't have crossplay with the Vita version, because I couldn't really imagine playing the game seriously on it...But then I remembered that the PS TV is coming out this year and is really goddamn cheap. If it were compatible and had crossplay, I could actually play with you people.
