Replaying the game years later

Hello everyone.

I was a HUGE Tales of Symphonia fan back in the day, and was planning on replaying it again, but to make it a bit more interesting this
time around, I thought to try making it a bit harder this playthrough.

Any ideas on how I could replay it?

I was thinking only using the basic weapons from the beginning of the game.
Maybe only buying 5 of each gels?
etc...

If you want to make it difficult, don't use any GRADE Shop bonuses.

I guess another possibility would be to not purchase anything from any in-game shop?  Rely on only what you get from drops and treasure chests?

There are lots of ways you could go about it.  Have fun first and foremost!
