X-Men: Apocalypse

Who's seen it? Saw it tonight, and I quite liked it!

the movie is so shounen.

drag the bad guy into your psyche and have a manly fist fight wow
combine all of our power to defeat the enemy
heel face turn for your nakama/hero

And that x steel bar is so corny i just smiled giddily throughout the movie. Fun movie overall, I don't follow the comics much so I can't/don't do critical analysis, but it was worth it.

It was very alrite. Lots of cool scenes, some fun action, and i think i left the theater liking it in the end. I loved Days of Future Past so much that anything afterwards Was hard to top for me, so, sorta bias. But nothing in this film made me angry or anything.

Probably not my fave comic book film of this year. So far number one is tie between Deadpool & Cap 3. And Batman V Superman is dead last. So, X-men's probably right in the middle for me. We'll see.
