Calling all God Eaters!

Now, I already have plans to play through the story with a couple friends who haven't played God Eater before (plus I'm only on story mission 9 right now because I needed to unlock Alisa for free missions, so you guys are all probably way ahead of me)

but we should totes trade some avatar cards. For reference I have both the PS4 and Vita version.

I think we've got TxN, DylDawg and Falcom who play this, anyone else?

BTW, what voice/gender is everyone using? I'm using male voice 5.

I have both of the games on Steam. Haven't got around to playing much of the first game, will do so when I have more time.

I never heard too much about these games so I just decided to look up gameplay and wooooow I might need to get the one that's on steam.

Yeah dude. It's a hunting game, but it's got the sophistication of character action games like DMC, with the character designs and quantity of the original .hack quadrilogy.

God Eater and Freedom Wars are the best hunting games by far IMO. Then you've got the ones that are close, but not quite as in-depth like Attack on Titan, Dragon Quest Heroes and Earth Defense Force.

Soul Sacrifice and Toukiden don't really appeal to me because their combat is too similar to vanilla Monster Hunter, though Toukiden 2 might be really cool with its open world. Japan-themed Dragon's Dogma is basically what I'm hoping for.

Ended up getting it on Steam and am playing Resurrection right now. I'm really really enjoying it, but can't decide if I wanna main spear/scythe/short sword

I still have a lot of god arc parts left to upgrade to max rank so I can finally catch up to where I was (in terms of equipment) in japanese GE2RB.

As for the MC of both games, I used the same look as I did last year.

Man, I still can't believe these games got localized. It's like a dream
