That Nico stream was a waste time because they were just recapping stuff from Tales Fes. Of nearly two hours of stream, we've only new footage and useful information that total up to at most 7 minutes. :/

You really didn't miss much. Just Baba and some other employee sitting infront of a Mac recapping what was already announced at TalesFes, minus the new Zestiria skit, two Zestiria cutscenes, and two commercials for Reve Unitia (which are all up on Youtube).

Here's a new female, Alicia's teacher. Her designer isn't mentioned, and she doesn't seem very playable, but there a few new exploration elements talked about.

I read that the scan confirms that battles take place on the field and that there's no separate battle screen for them, as I suspected. I welcome this change.

So more like Xenoblade Chronicles then?

I'm thinking Chrono Trigeer that the UI loads when touching the enemy. Xenoblade's UI is already there, but yeah.

Getting mad over the official Japanese names now. That's a new one for this fanbase. I guarantee that if the names were written like this from the beginning, nobody would've been complaining.

And the Tales series has already had a character named Alicia. A minor one, but still.
