Xillia 2 Sidequests

Okay so I just finished a bunch of the first batch of Sidequests last night and I have some questions, because I want to do as many as possible.

1) I finished all but one because I didn't rank up to the required title. Will I be able to rank up and complete that one before it disappears if I move on with the plot or am I missing something? Seeing it there without being able to take the job makes me anxious and aggravates my completionist OCD.

2) Is it possible to miss sidequests if you advance the plot too far this time?

3) Are some sidequests hidden, or do you get them all from the quest board?

At the beginning there are a couple quests in red that require you to get a high enough, rank, yeah. I was able to complete all the red quests just by continuing to do every quest whenever I could, and I didn't get all the red ones done until I found the cat in Xagut Floodplains. Yeah, I realize I'm way late to answer this by now, but I didn't know the answer until yesterday.
