What are your expectations for Berseria?

I just hope its better than Zestiria.

I expect a fun game.

I expect it to be like Xillia. Fun for 1 playthrough. Never to be played again.

I expect for this to bring back fluid storytelling, X/2 and to a lesser extent Zestiria felt like they had really choppy scenes, and I felt Zestiria had some pacing problems. Considering this was never a problem previously for me, I don't see it sticking around.

I expect to put lots of hours into this game, its looking like a mix of trying new things with some really classical things, so I think I might be spending a lot of time here. I'm hoping but not really expecting for a really solid experience, akin to what I felt completing Vesperia, just like I finished a genuinely great experience.

If they change the stupid equipment system and improve the awful AI Zestiria had, Berseria will be miles ahead of it.

It's giving me Vesperia vibes, so that's a good start.

No linking and party restrictions bs is already a step up from the previous entries.

I hope Berseria has material drop from monsters. f*** Zestiria equipment drop system. It undervalues equipment's ...values and so grindy/luck based.

And fucking have illustration for items, geez. I want to see how those armors look before and after sanctify goddammit.

I expect the best Tales of since Vesperia. Everything has looked amazing so far.
