Xillia 2 linking system

So my buds and I are waiting for Xillia 2, we loved part 1. BUT.

We hated the linking system. We wished we could link and still have remain of our characters...always felt like Xillia discouraged group play because of the loss of character control.

PLEASE tell me Xillia 2 has done away with the loss of character control...I have a feeling that it is the same...but one can hope Xillia 2 linking system 41355646

Nope but casters are less stupid with it in Xillia 2
