Tales of the Abyss 3D Question

I bought it on a whim and I have a couple of questions:

Are the 2nd MA's still second playthrough only, and if so, is the thing where if you reload the finished game file you will be able to use them in your first playthrough as well as enter the 2nd playthrough only extra dungeon?

They're New Game+ only.

And I never played the PS2 ver so I don't know the changes, but loading a clear save on 3DS automatically starts a New Game+ IIRC.

Its like all the others ^^ if you load a cleared save you start a New Game+

How did I do the New Game + bonuses on the PS2 then...maybe it was loading your save after saving a done game on another file? I completely forget darnit

I think pretty much everything is the same when it comes ta content.

I believe what you had to do was:

1) Beat the game on one file
2) After watching the ending, when the game asks you to save, SAVE ON A DIFFERENT SLOT
3) Then, go back to your first save (before you fight the final boss) and you now SHOULD be able to do 2nd playthrough bonuses on that file now

However, I'm not sure if this was carried over to the 3DS version. I have it myself but didn't finish a playthrough yet on it.
