| I was watching the anime of Abyss yesterday and one thing really threw me off. Hypothetically speaking, if Van had never created "Luke", how would Akzeriuth have been destroyed? The hidden score stated that Akzeriuth was supposed to fall anyway and that Luke (in this case Asch) was going to die at Akzeriuth. The only conclusion that I can draw is that the score predicted that Van would use Luke to destroy Akzeriuth. Is that correct? If not, how was Akzeriuth supposed to collapse? | |

| Assuming the prophecy would still come to pass, then Asch would have been in Luke's' place were Luke not created. | |

| I understand that. My question is, how would Akzeriuth have been destroyed? | |

| Same manner. The score states that the "Light of the Sacred Flame" would go to help Akzeriuth and then it would fall leading to another war. Most likely Luke or in your case Asch would cause a hyperresonance on his own since, by the time it will happen he probably learned how to do it on his own because he shares the same fonon frequency with Lorelei. | |

| Did Mohs know that Akzeriuth would fall? I forget how many people knew about the closed score. The reason I ask, is because the Tower of Rem was also a mining town where Luke was to die with around 1000 replicas. The score could have also been talking about the Tower of Rem, as noticed by Peony and the king of Kimlasca and the old dude from Yulia (I am bad with names).
I will accept that Van would have destroyed Akzeriuth with or without making a replica of Luke. However, is it possible that Mohs would have done something to Akzeriuth had Van not? If I need to drop this and go away, please let me know. Ya won't hurt this old man's feelings.

| Yeah, Mohs knew it.
Also the kings make the parallel with the Tower of Rem, but in the original Score the Tower of Rem is supposed to happen a few years later iirc.
There is also a contradiction somewhere in the Score, which shows how it only shows one possible future, and not always the same. I kind of wish this had been addressed in-game, because it's really interesting.

| It wont be of much difference, Asch could have done that if Luke wasnt created. Still, I am sure Van had good back-up plans anyway, the mastermind of an RPG video game in most cases needs to possess to capability of planning for various possible outcomes. | |
