Tales of Vesperia Questions Topic {SPOILERS}

I am playing through Tales of Vesperia right now. I have beaten the game a couple of times in the past, but it has been a few years. I figured that I would make a topic for this since I seem to have a lot of questions about the game. If you haven't played the game, please note that some of the plot may be spoiled, so if you don't want to know, you probably shouldn't read this topic. In any case, don't say that I didn't warn ya.



With that out of the way, at this moment in time I have two questions, but as I continue the game I will probably have more.

1) Can someone explain the existence of Yormgen?

2) There was a bird (probably an entelexia) that consumed the aer in the Weasand of Cados. It showed up again right as the party passed out in the desert. Is this bird Pharaoh? I recall Pharaoh being a lot bigger. If it's not Pharaoh, do we know who it is? If the answer to this question is "Just keep playing, it gets explained." then just tell me that.

I believe you. I really do. However, this brings up two new questions.

a) Wouldn't the party (or at least Estelle and Yuri) have recognized him in the Weasand of Cados?
b) I know that Judy knew about the Entelexia before everyone else, and that she also knew about Pharaoh. However, had she met Pharaoh prior to the Weasand of Cados?

They recognize Pharaoh at that point as "that huge mysterious monster who attacked Dahngrest". 

Iirc they ended up in Yormgen after defeating that boss in the desert and then collapsing.

I think Judy met Pharaoh beforehand.
