| Now don't get me wrong, it is annoying to constantly read this stuff in any Tales related news, but it isn't any better when those who think they are more sensible make fun of these people who just wants to play a good game.
And besides, we all know this fanbase (well the majority) will eat up any new ENGLISH Tales game release. Heck, I wouldn't be surprise if people buy an English Tales of the Tempest just so they can "support the series".

| Because your message is so much better, right? Regardless, annoying or no, there's really no excuse to beg for Vesperia PS3 anymore considering that not only is the fan translation of it almost done, but Namco confirmed they weren't localizing it ages ago. Fans just need to get over it. I swear, it's almost as stupid as when people used to constantly beg for a Symphonia remake. | |

| I haven't caught much up with the fan translation, but have they provided anyway for people to use it other than being on a lower firmware?
Well, all I'm saying is, it's not cool to constantly ask for it, but it also ain't cool to make fun of those people continuously.
And before I make a contradiction, I still believe that IF they do decide to ENglish Vesperia PS3, it'll still sell.
Edit: Not exactly the same, but we did eventually get the KH final mixes and Symphony PS2...in the PS3.. So, I wouldn't say there is no more hope.

Other than having a hard modded system, not as of yet. They did say they were making a translation guide alongside the patch though, so there's that if nothing else.

| It's sad how much JRPG nerds have to go through at times. :/
All the more reason I love fans who take time to translate for others to finally enjoy somethin'.
And honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a 10th anni somewhere down the road for ToV.

Part of me agrees with this. Another part of me is scared that they'd screw it up.

| What brought this on? Kind of outta the blue.
And yes, Tales fans will eat up anything that we actually get. JRPG fans don't have the choice to be picky. If you want to play something, you gotta fucking buy it even if it's censored or poorly translated, in the hopes that future iterations won't be.

| I assume this has spawned from the fb group and -don't- lol
Anyways yeah, people won't stop wanting VesPS3ria until they get it localized and same thing applies to the a part of the fanbase as a whole.

| At first I was a bit skeptical to the voice-overs in ToV, they seemed to give the slightly wooden performance that dubbing of japanese work often has, but it's grown on me, and I've started to like it. And here's hoping that sentence won't get me banned.
As far as dubbing goes, I've been wondering if the "problem" is that they're trying too hard to be like the source material, when it would have made for much better performance if it had been a bit more lenient when it comes to reactions, how they convey emotions and so on. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that if they'd tried to give it a more "western" feel, so to speak, other than just blindly translating it (I don't know how much work is done in translation, mind you), it may have been better received by those who criticize it for having somewhat average performance.
I may be wrong, because like I said, I have no idea how much effort is put into the translation. Personally I've come back to the thought of starting to learn japanese. Don't know if it makes for better enjoyment of a game, but it'll allow me to play and enjoy JRPG's in a way that suits me.

So tempting~ /just kidding!I think the most important remake/ reimagination would either be Legendia or Tempest though. Not that I don't want Vesperia PS3 mind you, it's just that if any games desperately need a remake/ localization, it's those two.
