Wonderful. I'm especially pleased that this is a Nintendo code, too, because Miiverse is 50% this kind of naivete.

Falcom, the math nerd in me wants to do that to a truck, but the more I think about it, the more complex I want it to be. If you ever see on a truck that 4 x 4 = |4 + 3i| - 11cos(pi), you will know it was me.

Literally all he got out of the game's plot summary is THIS GAME IS TEACHING KIDS TO BECOME SUPERHACKERS AND ULTRAVOYEURS even though you literally have a super duper wonderphone that lets you "hack" things with the push of a button. Aiden, despite being a hacker, didn't even make the fucking phone. His hacker background has little relevance.

I love how Glenn Beck had to exacerbate on the costs to make CoD and the average amount of time players rack up overall. Like ok, and your point is?
And then there's this gem.... "Have we not had enough? Can we have any hero heroes? Why must everyone be an anti-hero? Why must everyone break the law? Why can't we have a Superman?"
Just gtfo dude.

Yeah. I had a big rant about this video, I'm gonna try and crosspost it (with minor additions) from an IM conversation so don't mind the stilted sentence structures.
Wow, 4 teenagers killed themselves...Wait, teenagers like Call of Duty, these teenagers happened to play Call of Duty, CALL OF DUTY KILLED THESE TEENAGERS
That dude was was "trained to kill" by video games, video games that happen to feature LOTS OF GUNS WHICH HE USED TO KILL PEOPLE BECAUSE HE WAS FUCKING INSANE I'd love to see somebody actually try and use video game-specific skills to kill somebody. "This crazy fellow kept trying to jump on kids' heads while shouting 'woo hoo!' clearly Mario is the devil."
Uh, I'm pretty sure that games are played for more than 100 hours during testing considering that games are tested for months by fulltime employees who are forced to work overtime...We're talking 100 hours in two weeks, per person, at least.
Oh my god, all this hero talk bullshit, I mean there have been Batman games, he specifically tries to avoid killing people, but even games featuring America's millitary, you're still killing thousands of people. I'm really not sure what these guys want. Is that not criminal? I do kind of think it would be neat if there were a modern SWAT game where you could arrest dudes (like, more modern than SWAT 4) but that shit can become tedious and boring really quick, and people DO resist arrest unless you live in technicolor candyland. It's simply not possible to "do the right thing" all the time, and it's usually not entertaining...Thus we have so many characters who are forces of good but have to kill or break the law to achieve that.
6 minutes in, Watch_Dogs is a fast-track course on how to be a superhacker. That's the conclusion he got from the plot summary... jesus. Holy shit. You literally have a superphone, that somebody gives you. Aiden doesn't even make it, he just presses buttons and things happen.
Rofl, "These games rewire your brain...We don't even know what they do yet."
Hooooooly shit What the f*** EREADERS YOU CAN'T FLIP THROUGH 'EM THEY'RE RUINING THE PLANET
This is amazing to me. The way he talks, it literally sounds like a sermon at church when I had to go as a kid. I can definitely see why he's popular with the conversative crowd.

What a blessing I've grown up with grounded Pastors, so I know how to read the analogy. #Needless personal interjection
Well, let's put that hero call in reverse and feel even worse. So Memorial Day just happened in the States, and my mind wandered; World War II games, when you think about it, can be disrespectful as hell. If for no other reason that they complete ignore that Russia did over half the work and lost half the casualties, putting aside any of the usual "one man army" stories that have existed in games since Doom. "But then someone had to survive for any Allied operation to work!" Yeah, just leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
Anyway, I got one:

This is why it's a goddamn shame that Call of Duty 4 changed the direction of the franchise. Call of Duty actually had that stuff, the original let you play as a American, British and Russian characters during the campaign...Apparently Call of Duty 3 even featured the Canadian military!
CoD4 would've been great as a one-off, it's still a masterpiece, and I believe World at War was still a traditional Call of Duty game (I personally felt that the multiplayer beta was better than CoD4, just a bit.) Every game after that has been more fiction than fact.

We need more realistic warfare games like zero gravity Chivalry.
Can't get anymore authentic than that imo.

And now I vaguely remember that, I just don't know when in 3 that it happened.
Need to give the older CoD's a shot; I own no CoD's, but I've played the first three in some form enough to know that they cater to my FPS tastes more than what the post Modern Warfare games spiraled into. It must done!

You can get Call of Duty: Classic, an HD version of the original, digitally on the 360 or PS3. The console version of CoD2 is 360-only though.

And since I lack the original HD twins (What the frig am I doing on a Tales board, then, am I right?), Steam will have to be my outlet. Just as well, Keyboard and Mouse to boot.
