It plays a lot like Monster Hunter. I was trying to see if anyone is interested in forming a group to play with. Game comes out on the 28th and it would be a lot of fun to play it with others!

As does half of the Vita's library, ho!
Yeah I plan on getting it, but maybe not at launch unless there's pre-order/LE stuff, too much shit's been coming out recently.

Digital pre-order bonuses are a nice idea, but considering that these Japanese games have had "this DLC will be free for the first week" kinda deals for a while now, it's kind of shitty. You can download that content without having to buy the game, which I realize is an idea that they probably aren't fans of.

It is when its literally the only way some Japanese developers can even sell games anymore.

Was this during character creation or something? I got one for wanting to talk with my Accessory, even though it's a virtually identical option to the Accessory database thinger, which I assume is relayed to the player through speech.
Also there's a lot of talk about people merely existing and not contributing to society, etc. I can't help but think that this game should've been called NEET Deathmatch.

During a conversation, actually. If you take too long to choose an answer, you're penalized for Unproductive Silence.
I think you also get penalized if don't do anything (not even walking) for more than five minutes.

Greetings, fellow Sinners.
I sincerely need help with mission XX7-5 Ghost Glow. Fucking hellspawn chains of suffering. That's all.

The chains are a mess. Break the boxes, because that will prevent the chain it spawned to revive once Peltaltum screams after falling down. Unless you like to fight 8 shit-spewing chains.
As for the chains, grapple one with the thorn and shoot the hell out of them. The Barbara guns are great damage dealers against them.
This fight is difficult, and the fact that you have to replay the previous three AGAIN after dying doesn't help. Oh yeah, once it starts sucking you in that vortex thing, use the thorn to get away from it.

Seriously thanks for that box breaking advice. Wow that toned down the rage considerably. Severing all day, everyday, with a dose of Supressor every now and then.
Everyone seemed to recommend Barbara, but I just can't seem to be able to use it efficiently. So I brought my most damaging cannon and chuck bombs at them chains of misery, it's pretty satisfying.
And I can't believe I only learned the trick of chain link > shoot gun at the final boss fight, what a scrub. That made the Abel/Red Rage fight a lot less time consuming.
Overall, I think I'm in love with this game, would totally rate this 10/10 if only the upgrade materials is not mind-numbingly difficult to obtain, or even know what it's from.
Also, did the game just give me a fucking cliffhanger? Or is there an explanation in post game? Fucking Carlos pulling off a reverse Aizen.

Oh boy, then you're going to LOVE the "Retribution-only" upgrade materials. Also, yep. That's the ending, a fucking cliffhanger and I don't think it will be resolved since the post-game is pretty much a little extra in the story (mostly selecting the gifts from Simeon), online, Special Operations and Retributions.
Seriously, the story in this game is a joke even for action/boss arena/hunting games standards. It's weird, but it's quite enjoyable even with the constant farming.
You also get materials for breaking parts (aka, parts that you can't sever). Like, a few require "breaking" the legs of biped abductors.
And don't feel like a scrub, I learned that by accident when I fought the Peltaltum.

Figured I'd spread the idol love to gaming.
Sony just released a Kouken Girls theme on the Vita for 1.99, the song isn't too loud and it's looped more professionally than any "1 hour of X" video you've seen on YouTube, it's probably best theme ever released for a console or handheld. There's also a general Freedom Wars theme that plays the game's main theme.
