| I want the caption: "Tales Fanbase" specifically in the bottom.
Maybe include a picture of the guy that used the me in his satire in the wreckage.

| Okay so I shall rehost the contest, and Sui, Sliv, Colour and anyone who wants can add skits and graphics if they want.
Aaah we talked about the contest before the reboot, but I forgot what was said.
I remember suggesting to merge the two contests and have people submit who they'd like to see participate (so we don't have all times favorites competing against characters no one cares about), but idk how feasible that is with so few members... Then again it's just the forum's contest. Thoughts?

| Dethrone the King.
Aka Yuri Lowell.
We want the other combatants to stand a chance.
I also believe we were thinking of nominating contestants, but I'm not sure how feasible that will be. If everyone nominates only a single person, they're bound to vote for them as well. Still, I'm not sure what it would look like in reality.
Another option would be to hold two contests simultaneously in the same topic. One for the males and one for the females. Each round, everyone gets to place one vote for their favorite male character, and one for their favorite female character. I guess this would eventually lead to a leading couple instead of one supreme ruler of the popularity contest.
If you'll have me, I'll gladly make the banners again, though I will need ample time in advance to prepare this time. =) Pokemon trainer round? FE:A round? Animal Crossing round? Just spamming ideas here

| Well for nominations I was thinking we could nominate as many chara as we like, and then the [insert bracketable number here] characters who got the most nominations would compete.
But hosting both at the same time is also a possibility.

| Yume and I were thinking of doing an Umineko inspired story but idk how many people here are familiar with it.
Though considering how few of us there are, is it even worth putting so much effort in another contest?

| I'M SO ON BOARD FOR UMINEKO INSPIRED STORY I WILL CRy MANY TEARS.
*ahem*
I've been off the internet for a little while recently (more like off and on) but I'm back and I'm happy to see so many active topics!!
I'd be happy to help out with script ideas for skits/tabulating votes/managing things, and I fully support the idea of another contest, I'll try to help to think of ways to make nominations feasible too, but Yume's idea sounds really good!
On another note: I'm in both big Tales FB groups but I think I might have left one because the atmosphere was just constantly shifting to icky things and most of the topics are stuff I'd rather talk about in a forum setting xD I saw what happened with Dyl-Dawg though, with mixed feelings, observing from afar.

| Problem is I really don't think I'll have time to write a complex story (my original idea for Umineko was, well, complicated, as what happened would depend on the votes, so it'd have to be written while the contest is going and we all know what happened last time we did that ><) | |

| Well if coming up with story concepts was a group effort it might ease the workload a bit. | |

We could hold longer rounds instead of one per day. That'd give me (or anyone else) more time to work on the banners as well. Ór we could come up with all the possible routes in advance. Which I'd like to veto right now.

| Eh, I think we should wait until later rounds for the original story parts (like we did with the original competition). We're not even sure how active this forum will be during the contest and again, I'm not sure if it'd be worth in putting so much effort into something only a few people will appreciate.
If the forum is relatively active by the time we start the contest, I say give it a go. If not, then don't even bother tbh.

| Yeah, I read through the Umineko series last year and completely loved it (I watched the Umineko anime while it was airing, and I... didn't completely love it?), so the possibility of Yume and Colour doing something that involves Umineko certainly interests me.
And I'm not sure the speed at which the original contests went, but one round per day does indeed sound too fast. One round per every 3-5 days sounds like a good pace to me.

| That's the general impression of the show, but I'm still hoping they do Chiru at some point just because I want to see how it would get done, even if its as sloppy as season one.
I don't mind a slower paced contest at all, of course I do see where Colour is coming from, I don't want you guys going to all that trouble and not getting lots of appreciation for it (of course I could do a recruitment drive advertising our welcoming, kind, from the ground up, never-give-up environment <3)

| Okaay then, we'll do something like that. I'm already getting new ideas haha XD
We need to decide, tho: male and female characters together with nominations or two contests in parallel?

| Well if we decide to keep a round up for a few days, I don't see the harm in keeping both together with nominations. | |

| I just thought of an evil plan to bring more people here.
It goes like this: We host the contest here and on BN's shiny new forum (when it has more new members), tallying votes from both places... with the added bonus that people who have an account on both forums get two votes, one per forum! They will surely raise to the bait and check out this mysterious "Reservia" place which can give them more power!
Yes, you can tell me my idea is stupid.

Yes, you can tell me my idea is stupid. No actually, you're a genius. I think that could actually work. A broken system isn't broken if everyone can use it on equal terms. And it seriously might add to our numbers. On both sides.
