| I'm not saying they should use western foods in western-like setting. I just think unknown foods are not necessary for fun.(So I don't care about sushi) For example, does Tales of Graces need to leave "crablettes" in it? Is there any problem if they change the food to something else? I guess these foods are jokes like "holy hand grenade" in monty python, but then I want them to use something I can imagine. What do you think of it? | |

| Wrong forum, should've posted it in Any Tales Discussion instead. But what's wrong with crablettes? It existed since at least as early as 1930s. Okay, I'm fucking with you, but honestly I've been eating omelette combined with various meats since child. I'm pretty sure I've tasted "crablettes" a long time before Tales of Graces f spoke of it. It sucks though. Both crab meat (or imitation crab meat) and egg/omelette are soft in nature, so the combination of the two doesn't add any worthwhile texture to the food. Now if you use minced beef instead, now that's a delicacy. Anyway, most of the foods in Tales series exists in real world. At least some form of it. The only original food I know that Tales 'invented' is Mabo Curry, which honestly is just the combination of mabo tofu and curry. | |
