| Anyone else got one of these? I got one for my birthday, and I haven't been able to try it out much yet. So far I have been experienced both audio and video lag in 2 of the 3 games I've tried out; Ori and the Blind Forest and Don't Starve. Grandia II played just fine, though. Not sure what to do about this, or what's causing it Let me know if you have any theories. | |

| Someone else I know got one and comments on their facebook mention if you're using both wifi for your internet and steam link, it helps to have one use 5ghz and the other use 2.4ghz. I have no idea how you would do that but basically if they're on different wifi frequencies they won't interfere with each other.
My friend wasn't using wifi though so that wasn't his issue. Dunno if that will help. :/

5ghz is used by Wireless A, N and AC. I'm assuming Steam Link supports this, not many consumer gadgets do. They're presumably suggesting that so the majority of your wi-fi connected devices use the wireless B/G network on 2.4ghz and only Steam Link and maybe a couple computers in your home will connect using Wireless N. For this to work you need to have a dual-band router though. Realistically I don't think it makes a big difference because the router is still sharing the same load, but Wireless N allows for higher bitrates on LAN. I'm assuming that the PC that has the games installed still runs the game itself and is just streaming the footage/inputs like Remote Play on PS4. I've wasted too much time networking, personally, and had no success improving my Remote Play connection. My best advice is to make sure your PC is connected to the router via ethernet, since it has to do the most work (this is the one thing I haven't been able to test personally since my PS4's on a different floor from the router.)
