Why does Magicka Blade translate to Magical Destruction and not Magical "Blade"? Come on, it's a hammer emitting a bigass sword aura. Unless blade/blatt/vlad/blaze somehow translates into destruction in some other language then that is very weird.

Endless Waltz is admittedly very funny. As is Apocalyptica. Also, Hien Moushuuga is a great change, it establishes a connection with the other Hien/Swallow arte line, which Vesperia didn't do.

Lucky Cat is iffy for me because fat cat Rollo sure as hell ain't gold. Nakishigure too, because I like to imagine it being a part of Akisazame/Samidare/Zankoushigure family, but Time Disintegration sounds so badass for me not to like.

Time Craymel changed into generic name is bad though. Way to sweep that Eternia reference under the rug.

Altering names to eliminate Engrish doesn't bother me (what the heck is Stably Aim supposed to mean anyway) and I don't know if retraining the French arte names would have worked out very well, but it does kind of get on my nerves when they change some names unnecessarily or don't stick to a consistent arte-naming theme.

There are several examples, but in Xillia they changed Muzzle Bark to Cross Cleave but retained Muzzle Roar's name. Why? Either change both names or leave them both the same. It's like Funimation calling the DBZ villains Freeza and Cooler instead of Freeza & Coola or Freezer & Cooler. I hope Xillia 2 fixed that issue.

I wonder if they're going to rename Eagle Rage considering they kept it for Symphonia HD, or just keep like with Lightning Strike did with the first game and not care that there are multiple, different attacks with the same name floating around.

I've only found one name translated differently from how it was in the first game, so I assume all the other enemies' (Beast Blades', Nachtigal's, Ivar's, etc.'s) movelists are identical in translation. Artes with question marks are of course still in progress.

Interesting trivia are that Cress's Lunge has been exaggerated to "Chaos Lunge" and Stahn's Fiery Beast has been translated to "Thunder Beast"... Somewhy... I think it was a Radiant Mythology error.

Yeah, they most likely took the names off of RM1 without checking for errors, and thus, this is the second time Fiery Beast has been blatantly mislabeled.
