Yesterday I did:
Tried replaying Wild ARMs: AF, quit after Cecilia prologue.
Tried replaying ToL, didn't even reach Bandit's Hideout.
Continued my 2nd playthrought of P3, nope...
Tried replaying Rogue Galaxy, quit before going out of the planet
Finally I remembered I'm one generation late on gaming already and got so sad I couldn't sleep properly.

Started playing Wildstar today, got a guest pass from a friend. I like the style and the humour, but as for the difficulty, it's pretty pedestrian, just like most MMO's are. It's made up a little bit by a rather good story, but if the gameplay starts to become a bore, I'm afraid I might lose interest.
The one thing I like about MMO's though, and borderlands, by the by, the by, is if I have someone to play it with. The feeling of camaraderie and teamwork make these types of games much more fun for me.

So I had this idea to try to swap as much of Elder Scrolls 4's soundtrack as possible with Zelda Reorchestrated arrangements. Two observations;
1) The Overworld themes are great, surprising no one, despite half the ones I picked having the Zelda theme in there somewhere.
2) Going down a trap door into cave and finding bandits you did not expect with a realistic rendition of Ocarina of Time's Normal Battle Theme sneaking up on you is NOT something you should be doing past midnight.

I don't see why not, this song was awesome. It adds a certain pizzazz to the situation.

4 didn't have giant robots, did it? I know that the original game had all that, and that you're right about 3. I really need to finish Wild ARMs 2 sometime...

Now that you mention it, yeah I don't think it had giant robots. 3 does have one though, sorta.
EDIT: Nvm, 3 also have swords but not in the main party.

Wild ARMs 2 will always be my favorite I think. I can't even explain why I just really enjoyed it, both plot and gameplay-wise. WA3 seems to have a lot more fans but I didn't like that one very much. Part of it was that part of the WA setting was that ARMs/guns were supposed to be rare, and suddenly the series shifted to every party member having one.

Tbh I can't choose between 2 and 3. 3 was my first WA and I enjoyed it immensely when I was younger but 2 has a spot in my heart too. The plot was just so dang good.

The fact that I share my real life first name with a playable character in WA2 also helps. That's honestly only ever happened once in my entire gaming life. Especially when I found myself liking the character even though he's practically an afterthought in the plot.
(I'd say which character but I'd rather not post my real name out in the open on the forum. Though I suppose that's just paranoia since I'm pretty sure I have it on my Steam account anyway.)

The only instance I've seen of my name in a game. As a side boss no less!
And I just noticed the name Suiky as the other side boss in this fight. That's kinda weird... Har, did you go back in time and stick that in there? O_O;

WA3 is my favorite, followed by 4, AF, 5 and 2.
I've yet to see my name(Diego) in a game though.

World's most efficient do-nothing mastermind appreciation topic?
Uggh, so many Alex's. First time I played Golden Sun, I put it in too, having no idea that Alex the Imilian existed. I have never been so entertained by trying to figure out who's who in a game.

Alex is the greatest mastermind of all time.
He effectively

And he manages to dojust that, offscreen...
There's one point in both games at which you can try reading his mind. He won't let you.
He's the only Villain I have ever completely forgotten about while playing a game. When I saw the ending, I literally went

I don't even consider Alex an antagonist, he's just too chill for that and you don't even fight him either.

Holy cow, Silver Star never occurred to me. At all. Shows how entirely un-Sega my childhood was.

That's going to become a giant game of mental math at some point.
