Can't wait to try my favs: Jonathan, Josuke, Johnny, and Joseph ofc!
Also playing Dark Souls. My final that I am gonna study for today is an open book one anyway, so I can probably rest a bit.
Same dude, Johnny and Joseph look extremely fun from what I've seen especially in these two vids.

BF4 This game continues the tradition of DICE games hating me. I'm stuck on the first mission of the singleplayer mode. I have to blow up this helicopter with my grenade launcher, and the grenade goes through it, so I die.

Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (Vita): Killed Dark Valefor. I don't care if it was cheap to use Zanmato at the start of the battle, I just wanted to get Anima because idiot me forgot the destruction chest in the trial.
On that note, I got Anima and the Magus Sisters. =)

Prinny where the hell is your sig from. I've been wondering for ages what manga that is.
On topic, I beat Link's Awakening again. I basically remembered everything, even that the 5th golden leaf was in a bombable wall that had really no indication that it could be bombable. That's freaking crazy, considering the last time I played this game was when I was five.

I have no idea, I stole the sig from someone else at another forum I go to.
Time to finish BF4's singleplayer. I got 1 1/2 missions left.

Witch and the Hundred Knight: chapter bosses keep getting tougher, and last chapter was full of enemies weak only to blunt weapons, the majority of which are hammers, and as far as I know ALL blunt weapons are slow and heavy. Not ideal for grinding. Current chapter has tons of enemies weak to magic however, which *is* ideal because it allows me to unload tons of projectiles and massacre everything quickly. Let the grinding begin!

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror: this game is basically The Great Cave Offensive with the New Super Mario Bros. gameplay philosophy. It's a Metroidvania game, but it has nothing to reward you with. The only things I've found thus far are maps, teleports and the mirror shards that you need to beat the game. The map design extends like a spiderweb from a central point (which you can warp to at any time by holding L) and you can reach various bosses at the end of each web...But most of them are just "goal" endings and let you play a goal minigame for health and one-ups, that's it. Reaching an endpoint also seems to respawn all healing items strewn throughout the map.
I guess it's not really a Metroidvania insofar as the fact that you can play the game with four other players (although multiplayer doesn't work for Wii U-emulated GBA titles) and explore the map simultaneously, and it's really just a big maze where you're trying to find the mirror shards and that's kinda it.
What's weird is that even in singleplayer, the three other Kirbies still exist and have AI to navigate the world on their own, find powers and defeat enemies and destroy blocks...But I don't know why they were designed to do that. To my understanding they can't collect items for you, and since their AI is scripted to roam, even if you call them to you they aren't much help in exploring a screen and you'll just leave them behind quickly. If anything they could just get in the way in sections where there's a bomb block that blocks off a doorway and they trigger it, or they could take a power you want. It's like they looked at Four Swords and didn't understand any of Capcom's design.
The highlight of the game would be the exclusive powers. Though one of them, Cupid, has basically been turned into Archer in Triple Deluxe. The coolest thing is that you can fight Master Hand and get Smash power from him which lets you use Kirby's moveset from Smash Bros. That's the highlight of the highlights. The powers in general are kinda lame though, since they're lacking a lot of the moves that were in Kirby Superstar, for no good reason.
As much as I like Superstar, 64 and Epic Yarn, there's a lot of reasons why I'm not a bigger Kirby fan outside of those games. Design-wise I find that a lot of them barely scratch the surface of why those games were great, both in terms gameplay depth and visual style.
Even though I was unimpressed with Return to Dreamland, I think I'll give Triple Deluxe a try (also just because I prefer the 3DS to the Wii in general.) It does look very similar though, so hopefully HAL hasn't fallen into the New Super Mario Bros. formula.

Superstar Ultra is the only Kirby game I've played actually, and I really, really loved it!! I ended up giving it to my cousin's son though, as he didn't have very many games and its one he could actually get a lot out of.

If you've got a Wii or a Wii U and want it again, I'd say grab the SNES version. It might look a bit different from Ultra, but honestly it's probably my favourite SNES game, even visually, it really represented the SNES at its best. Plus you could play multiplayer, it was one of the best examples of SNES multiplayer too.

I've yet to play Amazing Mirror, so I have yet to cast judgement on that, but I can say Return to Dreamland kind of blew me away. I agree that less-than-stellar Kirby is boring, but Return didn't hit that for me. But my Kirby History is weird, since I went from Nightmare in Dreamland -> Adventure -> 64 -> Part of Super -> Return.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen- Playing through the game again on New Game+ with the Dark Arisen expansion. I'm only at Level 51, and the game recommends I be Level 70 before I go to Bitterback Isle, so I guess I'll be playing the regular game for a while.
Titanfall PC- The PC port sucks. The mouse controls are not smooth at all. I can barely hit people because I get stuttering whenever someone comes near me. I don't have a crappy mouse, either (its a Logitech G500).

Contagion: Still kinda unpolished and in beta, but I advise anyone who enjoyed the RE Outbreak games to give it a glance on steam. The devs really enjoyed Outbreak and are modeling a lot of mechanics after those games.

Sonic Rush: Beat the Bonus Stage 7, trying to get Rank S on all stages, it seems literally impossible thought.

Final Fantasy X-2 Remaster Got a cute Tonberry from the Creature Creator, and I fought a couple oversoul fiends in Mi'ihen Highroad. I like the dressphere system, and the in-battle transformations reminds me of a mahou shoujo. I like this game.

FFX-2 is one of my favourite games ever <3 This creature creator system added even more stuff to do, but it feels a little overwhelming to keep track of along with everything else @.@ I'll probably use it more 2nd playthrough of this version

One thing I noticed is that the fiends you capture are more or less the same level as Yuna/Rikku/Paine. Also, be sure to clear the Standard Cup, that way you'll get the Psychic Dressphere which has the [Element] Eater auto-abilities.
Progress: Got the gunmage and psychic dressphere, visited from Djose to Bevelle and trained fiends in the arena, and watched their tales + endings. I already clocked over 10 hours in this game and I haven't advanced the plot.
Yes yes, there's a sphere reading in Besaid but I have exploring/training to do!

The sidequests and how they develop through the chapters is actually the best part because the story is so minimal there's a lot of room for your choices to have a lot of impact on what happens in the last chapter! I got like 97% or 98% on my PS2 copy lol, I can't wait to get the new content too >_< I was surprised they give you the Festivalist sphere so early and so randomly xD

Did all of the enemies in Ocarina Master Quest always do twice as much damage, or did they add that to the 3DS version?
I beat the Gamecube version of Master Quest back in the day and I don't remember the inside of the Deku Tree being this Dark Souls.
