Flanoir (spoilers?)

Just got to that scene.
My soul mates are strange:
I wanted Kratos to be my Nr. 1 ...well, it was Regal, how the hell did I do that? Then Kratos and Colette.


So, which guys and girls did you get?

Presea, Raine, and Kratos
I picked Kratos

I've been using the guide to get Genis, so he should be my number 1. I am quite sure Sheena will be number 2. Past that, no clue. Not quite there yet.

I'm trying to get Zelos without a guide.

Omg Good Luck, I'm using a guide and I still think I might be messing it up. I'm going for Zelos and I'm thinking Raine and Sheena might be the other two that might show up with the choices I've been making, but we'll see :0 I'm aiming for Presea next playthrough so after the Flanoir event I'm going to do all her sidequests (other than the missable then before) and skit points.

Iirc, on my very first playthrough I got Sheena, Raine and Regal, but my memory might be a bit fuzzy.

Mine was Colette, Regal, then Presea

I went with Regal since I wanted his costume.

My first Symphonia play through way back when I got Colette, Genis, then Sheena :0

I'm hoping to get Genis down as much as possible just so I don't have to get his swimsuit because I'd rather literally anyone else get it (since I got his in GC version);p

He's the hardest one to get, you need to start working on it from the beginning.

The general rule is to disagree with Kratos (do the Kratos' secret mission events but don't investigate), choose the "bad" answer for everyone's affection skits (the shiny rings on the world map) except Zelos, do all of his subevents and choose him whenever you can (to cook the curry, rescue Kate, etc...), the lost child in Sybak side-quest increases his affection a lot. This should help, the affection skits are here (at the end of cutepresea's post).

You're on the right track when you get the "Combo, Lloyd and Zelos" skit.

That is nice since the bad answers don't decrease. After I get the Zelos scene in Flanoir I'll get everyone elses affection rates back up. I just want Zelos to be in my top three, not my number 1.

Ignore everyone else's affection skits, then. You can use them later to increase affection. It's best if you aim for #1 with Zelos, he's so hard to get that even one bad choice can knock him out of your top three if you're not careful.

I finally got to the Flanoir scene. Genis was number 1, as I expected, but somehow Presea was the second option, then Sheena. I expected Sheena to be the second choice and didn't have a clue who was going to be 3, so I was surprised when Presea was the second option.
