Alternately I guess I could've edited like, all the posts, avatars and signatures on this page into pictures of kiwis, but again, I'm too lazy to go about undoing it all.
Just wanted you to know that I care. I guess. Kiwis. I know it's weird of me to say, but I'm honored by your consideration to do so. Me seeing nothing but kiwis everywhere would've actually been epic.

| This election campaign just got real interesting. After recently denying rumors than he would go in politics, Quebecor's CEO Pierre-Karl Péladeau as announced he will run for the parti québécois in the riding of Saint-Jérôme in the incoming election. Quebecor owns, among others, the Sun newpapers. Yup, the newpaper chain that most harshly criticise Québec is owned by a separatist! Mon adhésion au Parti québécois est une adhésion à mes valeurs les plus profondes et les plus intimes, c'est-à-dire faire du Québec un pays. - Pierre-Karl Péladeau | |

One of my friends had an awesome idea today.
We're probably going to put it into motion one day as well. The general idea is to gather a group of people, and then choose someone who is not in that group. And mess with him/ her all day by whispering "wake up" in his or her ear every now and again.
For a full day.
Neg:
My voice is gone.
And my throat hurts.
I hope I can talk again tomorrow...

Neg: Had a really nice dream where somethin' I've been lookin' forward to potentially happening did, but alas I woke up and all my hope was dashed. Sigh. | Fick:
My throat is sore and as a result my voice is cracking in really weird ways. For a large part of the day these days I don't have a voice at all! I type more than I speak. xD What folly.
Fick:
I had to hand in a form five times today to apply for a scholarship.
Fick:
I talked with a girl today. A girl I was crushing on pretty hard three years ago. It was nice. Even if it only lasted for 2 minutes or so. I realized once again that she is not some kind of goddess incarnate but a human just like all of us. It felt like a huge relief, like a pat on the shoulder: that talking with people you barely know but think are awesome isn't scary at all; and that talking to people you want to impress shouldn't be any harder than talking with your friends.
Her voice though. Her voice is unlike any I've heard before. In a word, it is refreshing. And I mean that in a good way. The best description I've been able to come up with isn't as flattering however, but I mean well. Her voice is like a torrent of ice cold arctic water gushing through the himalayas, mixed with copious amounts of lime. It freezes all of your nerves for just a millisecond, but then you get used to it and it seems fine. Look at that, accidental poetry. Don't try to read it as poetry, it doesn't work.
I met her through chance today, not sure if I'll ever meet her again.
Fick:
While petting a random cat today, I started to ponder what it would be like if humans were more like cats. Cats see such wonder in the world. They can show so much kindness to a passerby and blatently ignore their familiar humans all the same. Cats don't care what you think of them, they are independant and live their own lives. I think people could learn a lot of cats; of their confidence, of their kindness, of their brevity, of their laziness and of their faith in humans.
Fick:
I've been writing some fiction in the train to and from my university. I think I'm finally getting somewhere. John Richard "R" Reynolds is starting to take shape.

| @Moonie and Suikiwi: thanks you two. I've been constantly telling myself I have to keep fighting, so other people repeating that same thing does help reinforce it.
It seems like I feel more and more detached from my surroundings every day though, and that scares me. That's the sort of thing I've been trying to prevent.
Something came to mind though that made me laugh and strangely made me feel a little better about my situation even if it's a little sad.
It's like I'm living in some oldschool RPG (think Dragon Quest)
"Please, thou must help us!" [ ]Yes [>]Sorry, got an entire freaking world to save and it's far more important than your lost dog.
"But thou must!"
"Please, thou must help us!" [ ]Yes [>]Sorry, got an entire freaking world to save and it's far more important than your lost dog.
"But thou must!"
"Please, thou must help us!" [>]Yes [ ]Sorry, got an entire freaking world to save and it's far more important than your lost dog.
And then the dog gets lost again 5 minutes after I return with it.
Damn those boxes with text in them! If only they didn't halt movement I could simply walk away! *shakes fist*

Neg: Oh god... I found my old Gaia Online profile from YEARS ago; it's cringeworthy to hell and back. I'm gutting that embarrassment as soon as possible tomorrow. I'm hoping I can still access that monstrosity...
Ain't no way in hell would I want anyone looking at that. So much stupid crap from my early HS years. I hate how I was back then. Not to mention the old OCs I made and rps I did like 8-10 years ago... I had completely forgotten about my OCs and rp ventures too. D:

| Pos: it's actually been in the 30s and 40s for the past few days and the mountains of snow are finally shrinking.
Neg: it's dripping off the roof and refreezing on the driveway. If this doesn't clear up there will be trouble when the 1/8 Colette figure ships out near the end of the month. It's not going to fit in the mailbox so they'll need to climb up the icy driveway - that practically goes straight up I might add - and leave it at the door. I would attack the ice with an ice chipper but that would be futile. It's dripping from the roof nonstop, which will simply recreate any ice I chip away.
Pos: decided to watch Baccano! for a change of pace because I'm starting to lose the enjoyment out of everything else I do to pass the time. It sort of worked. The act of just being like "f*** it I want to watch this, I've been meaning to watch it for months." helped a little bit to lessen the feeling I've been getting that I'm powerless to change anything. Really wish the anime didn't jump around so much though, that makes my head hurt.
Neg: Once I was done with Baccano! for the evening I still wasn't in the mood for anything else. Even picking up and playing Bravely Default seemed like going through the motions.
Fick/Neg: I think maybe I'm burning myself out again. Maybe that's the problem. Unfortunately this time I feel it's even more impossible to take a vacation and just get away from everything right now.

| Dafuq: I wake up at 9:30 (which is like the crack of dawn for me) to this: I stirred to wakefulness at the sound of my cat chirping and loud pecking sounds. In my half asleep stupor, I had no idea wtf was going on till I sat up. And that is the site I see! A mexican standoff between my excited cat and some random bluebird. It was like looking at a western - except with animals. The bluebird for whatever reason, continued its actions and the pecking noises began yet again. It then clicked with me that this insane blueblird was pecking furiously at the window. Pretty sure my cat wasn't the reason behind it and this bird was weirddddd. It kept continuing onward for like an hour and a half. It was too random and hilarious to be annoyed at tbh. I mean look at this lil guy! You can just see the crazed look in his beady lil eyes! I even closed the blinds and even that didn't stop him... - Harbinger wrote:
