| Neg: did another Google Hangout with my friends last night. First Hangout in a while, and it was mostly one of them poking fun at how quiet I am. I think I just need to confront him about it and be like, hey look:
1. Yes I'm at least a little quiet.
2. Your teasing me about it isn't going to help make me less quiet. I try not to let it bother me because I know you don't really mean anything by it. But it does bother me because I don't want to be quiet. That gets me frustrated which ironically makes me more quiet.
3. We only ever have these Hangouts fairly late at night and I'm even quieter at night because every time I talk I have to be careful not to be too loud as I'm not alone in the house, and everyone else is asleep. Psychologically that makes me even less likely to say anything unless I have to.
4. On that note, at night is when I have the least energy. I'm not exactly a night person.
Neg: the Hangout made me start worrying about whether I'm actually going to have a good time at Anime Expo.

Personally, I think you should definitely broach the subject with them. Especially since it's frustrating you so; a friend shouldn't have to go through that kind of cycle. - Tenshigami wrote:

To be honest, I'm kind of surprised your one friend didn't take something like that into possible account. I mean whenever I'd be on Vent it was a normal thing to come across when speaking with people during the evening. o_O - Tenshigami wrote:

This reminds me of how I used to raid real late at night in WoW (I play on a PST realm) and how me being tired for the longest time affected my efficiency. I mean I overcame my fatigue and was able to do hard raids until 2am but still... People need to take into account that you're not as energetic as everyone else around when it's nighttime and cut you some slack. In your shoes they'd most likely want the same too after all. - Tenshigami wrote:

Now when it comes to a worry like this, you must remind yourself that neither are exactly the same. In Hangouts, you're interacting with people over the internet and therefore aren't communicating with them irl. When it comes to Anime Expo, you'll be meeting up with friends irl and will be interacting with them on an entirely different level; on such a level that will require a very different approach to socializing. This is just me but I don't think you will struggle at all with your friends during such a time like that.

| Neg to the max: UPS just charged me 33 bucks in import fees for my order of JoJo ASB from Club Namco. I never knew it would be delivered by UPS, and I figured that the import fee would be less since it's from the states. But Nop. I had to pay 83 bucks for JoJo, and it doesn't even have a manual, or the DLC characters in the disc already.
This is seriously ruining my day. What the hell do I do?

What? 33 bucks? Good God. Also why would you order from Club Namco? Wasn't it available via Amazon? Club Namco is Digital River and nobody in their right mind would willingly deal with that company after the Ni no Kuni Wizard's Edition disaster unless they have to. >_<

| I asked my friend who ordered the ToX CE from Club Namco too, he said they only charged him 20 bucks, so I assumed that the NNK Wizard Edition thing was just one screw up and I was assuming that it won't be that bad since it comes from the states, compared to when I used UPS for importing Xillia from Play-Asia (which I paid 15 bucks for import fees). And I quickly ordered it because Amazon.ca didn't have it yet at the time, and the Club Namco pre-order character is a lot better in the JoJoverse compared to the Amazon character.
So I guess, this truly confirms how shitty Namco and Digital River (as well as UPS) comes to customer service, and overall in general.

| I'd be more mad at your government than Namco when it comes to import fees, unless I'm missing something here.
DHL though is worth complaining about. They pay duty for you then bill you later, without giving you notice upon receiving the package that this will happen, you just receive a bill in the mail like a month later.

If I had known that they were gonna use UPS at the start, or right after I placed my pre-order, I would've went with Amazon instead. I didn't see anything in the ordering process that says that they'll ship the orders through UPS. Well, I only had to pay 15 bucks for when I imported Xillia JP from Hong Kong, I don't know why this costs a lot more than that.

So the only person I've been showing this AMV as I work on it is my dad as I can easily transfer test renders to him over the home network. He now wants to watch Mujin Wakusei Survive and I'm not even done with the AMV yet.

| Neg: Found out my best friend is going to have no internet for one year starting sometime this summer that's uncertain, and its a time of GIANT change in his life, he's starting to work and starting college and a whole bunch of new stuff like moving to a city for the first time and moving out of his state area. I also really need him too and we'll still find ways to communicate like starbucks wifi and stuff, but its gonna be a lot harder. I'm glad for the possibility of at least not having radio silence though, because the internet is all we have to communicate with, and we're used to talking very frequently. He's my go to person for pretty much everything. We'll make it work, I'm gonna try sending letters and stuff, but it just really omega super duper SUCKS SO HARD. Its already hard to share stuff with him and now its even harder, I HATE DISTANCE T.T Ugh, all because his brother's apartment doesn't have a hookup for a router. | |

| Oh christ Shiv, a whole year? That's crazy! I kinda know how you feel, too. My best friend has more frequent access to internet than that, but he's not really there when I need to talk to him anymore and I'm constantly worried about a friend who's like a brother to me.
Combine that with the fact that I think he's hiding a lot of stuff from me because he doesn't *want* me to worry, and I'm often not in a very good mood.

| That's awesome that you made your father interested in the show, Tenshi. Maybe once it's over you can ask him which character he related to the most.
fick: I had a dream about Reservia a few nights ago. In the dream, Tenshi was talking to me about how he fell off the side of a cliff whenever he went mountain climbing back in 1987 (Dream Tenshi was about 19 or 20 years old in 1987, rather than being a toddler). The dream entered a flashback to play out the memory that was being spoken of. Tenshi was standing at the edge of a cliffside, when suddenly the rock collapsed under him and he fell several thousand feet into a jungle area. Despite landing on his feet after falling thousands of feet, he landed as gracefully and easily as though he'd just jumped off a footstool, I guess Dream Tenshi is pretty badass. That's all I remember of the dream, so I'm not sure if he went on any adventures in the jungle or anything like that.
... yeah, I don't even know. I'll try to have better Reservia dreams in the future. orz

| Fick: My brother's up from Georgia visiting my sister and their family in North Carolina. I'm stuck 3 hours north of them with no way to see them. Not like I could anyway, their adoptive parents despise our mother and most likely me (just for existing) as well. I'm not sure if I should just try and forget about it all for the moment or not. :/ - ShivKH wrote:

I'm tempted to write this up into story form for future generations. That's how magnificent this dream is. - Dr. Casey wrote:

I don't even
I wish I were that badass. Unfortunately that story shall remain a work of fiction. Also I'm like 100% certain that Dream Tenshi looked nothing like me. I'm much more dashingly handsome. *shot*

| fick: man, to think that I thought I understood the meaning of being overstressed. Jeez. My school and family problems have been at an all-time high this semester, and I think they'll probably just get higher and higher as it goes on. I'm going to have to take less classes at once from now on because I can't handle doing all of this stuff at once. Unfortunately this pushes my graduation date by a semester, but I try to take solace in my friend's dad's advice, that it doesn't matter how long you take to finish a degree, as long as you do it and don't give up. Even if that means me being sad at all of my underclassmen friends from high school graduating from college before I do. (at least i'm not getting married and having babies like most of them are. gross) so yeah sorry I haven't been on often guys, this place usually doesn't surface to the front of my head very often
pos: i do have a green tea frapp though so that makes everything better neg: on the other hand i really need to stop going to starbucks so often, i can't afford to buy myself coffee every day, but it's just so much better than the coffee at my house :c

| NEG: S**t finally hit the fan with my best friend and I didn't (and still don't) know how to handle it. Despite having braced myself for this outcome I was at a loss for words - torn so far between wanting to get angry at him for not listening to me and wanting to tell him everything will be ok that my brain was just blue-screening.
