| @Suikiwi as I now live in a cat-less house, I miss hearing the chirps of a frustrated cat unable to make a meal out of a small critter behind a pane of glass, though I do remember such sounds fondly.
As for that bluebird, it is either extremely brave, a cat-taunting evil genius, or both.

12 fraternity brothers initiated on Sunday. For the first time (naturally) I feel like this house has enough good new blood in it that what is left of my senior class, who frankly has run most of the show since we were sophomores, can pack up. We pretty much turned the place's values upside down (for the better, the house I came into could not sustain itself) and were nearly suspended for piss poor performance all at the same time, but I get to say it ends well.
Going to see a grandmother over Spring Break after losing my grandfather last December, she will love that. Going solo, I'm a bit old to have never done that before but no more. She has a new dog, to boot- she tends to have good taste there.
Neg: I am not passing two of my classes at midterm, its entirely my fault, I've been out of sorts all semester, alarmed but not surprised, but atypical of me in the extreme and not what I want to be doing final semester.
15-page Historiography Paper due next Thursday; I have my sources, my topic, and very clear expectations of how the paper should work, but nothing on paper and some of those sources yet unread. Ho boy, time to disconnect from everything!

| Neg. Just found out I might have four english assignments due in two weeks, two of them being essays that will require reading and citing sources. Each essay only has to be three pages long, but it's a bit overwhelming for me, especially since this is only my second semester of college. I do have one assignment almost done and another half done, however, but it doesn't help that I also have to hand in two research papers by the middle of April, and I haven't started either of them.
Thank goodness this is my last semester I have to take English, and this is coming from someone who enjoys certain types of writing.

| Neg: yaay! Tons of homework from today due thursday at 8:45. Oh, and mandatory interactive lectures and assignments for my other course tomorrow for the entire day. Except in the evening because that's when we have another mandatory group of lectures from the university about the future.
Why on earth do different courses never coordinate with one another dammit?
Did I mention it is 23:19 right now and I am only now on my way back from Uni? I don't understand when they expect me to sleep.

Knowing my luck he'll be back tomorrow... Imma call em Bluebird the Sadist now. My poor baby has never looked so frustrated. Pos: I love all the Rob Schneider trailers within the movie theaters in The Stick of Truth. What's that, Rob Schneider turned into a carrot in the film aptly named "A Carrot"? Epiiiiic! What's that, Rob Schneider has become a stapler and wacky stapler shenanigans ensue? Oh boy! Even this made it into the game!

Wait, the other two don't require reading and citing sources? I was referring to the assignments that I haven't gotten a very good start on yet. I'll reiterate. Out of the four assignments possibly due in two weeks, they all require reading and three of them require citing sources in MLA styla.

| Fick/Neg: I really need to remember to respond to a friend's emails more frequently. I keep forgetting to respond because I'll be too busy when the email comes in and my mind gets so preoccupied with stuff that I completely forget by the time I can type up a response.
I hadn't responded to his emails for well over a month and he was really concerned because he knows I've been having a rough time.
I feel pretty bad about that now.

| @WA: that was exactly what it was like, except that I didn't actually use WebMD at all. But to be fair, I was showing a lot of real symptoms of it. Thankfully I think I am fine, though I guess I won't really know unless my kidneys unexpectedly start to fail. - Tenshigami wrote:

I feel pretty bad about that now. I know what you mean. It was stuff like that that caused me to never get around to responding to my Japanese pen pal, and weeks turned into months and etc. I feel really bad for never getting back into contact with him over something so pointlessly stupid, so I might have to just shoot him an email and see if he ever responds again. :[

I shot and edited a short movie 15 weeks ago. Eleven minutes, no dialog. Someone showed it to a professional today (not me).

I also only have one chance to do it before I have to hand in all of the forms to enroll for my second uni. If I get accepted into the test that is...

| Neg: that moment when the simple act of just looking at screenshots from an old PS1 RPG I really enjoyed playing back in the day suddenly evoked an incredibly intense longing to return to that period of time, when the way forward in my life was clear to me, not a thing really stood in my way and I hardly worried about anything. Why look behind only to get caught up in the furious currents of the past, when you can look ahead and reap the bounties yet to come with the tides? Ni No Kuni is still relatively new, and you, yourself, said it allowed you to tap into your nostalgia and experience the long forgotten joys of a Miyazakiesque world. There is bound to be things to come along that will allow you to create fond memories of the same depth to your memories of the PS1 era. All is not lost! The magic that came with youth may be gone, but in its place comes the ability to appreciate things on a greater scale. | |

| Well it wasn't so much wanting to replay the game. In fact that's easily do-able as I still own a copy and replaying a game is harmless.
It was more the whole suddenly wishing I could turn back time to those days when i originally played the game that had me going woah woah woah STOP
