| I'm liking the game so far! However, there's a few things that are weird:
- Party of 4 --- and you cannot swap them freely (need to be in-town) - He's obviously able to talk, but he does not. It's a bit annoying. While some scenes are perfect (some choices), others are ruined by his lack of speach. - Cats! I love cats but I already have to deal with RNG in another game. I sent those cats -fetching- for items required for a side quest. It took over 5 hours to complete this quest... and I was also feeding them food to make it faster. - I dislike the music (not all, obviously). That Jazz music doesn't make me want to explore!

Aw I like the Jazz. I love the relaxed feeling when you explore Elympios lol.

| You actually get an option in the grade shop to let Ludger talk | |

| I wish we had that option from the beginning. I'm probably gonna speed-run my first playthrough and skip cutscenes etc to get to the post game bonuses before doing an actual playthrough.

| Some optional quests seem to disappear with time. That sucks, but I assume it's for new game+ if ever I want to get everything... I guess.
I could "give up" on quests and go back select them. I'm assuming it's because I proceeded with the main story (the reason why those quests went MIA). It's a bit frustrating since it required me to kill monsters that were really stronger than I am.

| My biggest gripe so far aside from the silent protagonist is that they put so much emphasis on the choices, yet they... don't really do anything.
Like the only thing they've even truly affected so far for me is... whether I went to Helioburg(?) or Marksburg first. Big woop.

| My biggest gripe is that it still hasn't arrived yet -_-
It was supposed to be here five hours ago.

| Gaius and Muzet chapters are my favorite so far, though all of em were pretty great! Man this game is pretty damn great, even for a "rehashed" sequel with recycled content! | |

| Haha, I'm the opposite. I find Gaius's chapters to be an insult to the Chimeriad. Musee's are hilarious though. Been more or less enjoying the speedrun, though the debt makes it really tedious. But now I have access to poker I can't wait to be done with it so I can start an actual playthrough. | |

| Never.
You also can't take out Ludger until you beat the game.
And of course most chapters have set parties anyway.

| If you want NG+ bonuses right off the bat Yume you could probably find a complete save file online and use that. I know Gamefaqs has one. | |

| Cats are OP. They can enter and leave fractured dimensions at will. They travel through seas and dangerous lands like if it was just a walk to the feeding station. | |

| Randoooooom question but does anyone know where I can find that Ba'ul attachment? Google yields me no results. D:
If there's one thing that drives me nuts in Xillia 2 it's having to reacquire all non dlc attachments from 1 again...

| I just pretend Ludger is autistic, and suddenly I don't mind that he's not talking much. | |

| Finally paid up the debt! I'm almost really to start a NG+!
I still loathe the debt and party limitations, and still regret Ludger's lack of actual dialogue, as well as some other specific things (Milla's treatment, Gaius's character eps, plot holes, some gameplay aspects etc), but for the most part I've finally made my peace with the game x3 Can't wait to start my actual playthrough, but I'm waiting for my kitties to finish their hunts first.

| What bugs me right now is the extreme lack of NEW places. It's pretty irritating to be scouring old Xillia maps for chests and tunnels and stuff. It feels like I just DID this and now I gotta do it again.
Sapstrath just opened up for me so I've got a lot of this ahead of me again, too. Just made it to Sharilton and I'm doing all the sidequests and it's like ugh. It's optional to even be there at the moment but I feel obligated due to gamer OCD to go everywhere, do everything. So many old maps, nothing new. Halp.

| Yeah, and it's worse when alt worlds make you revisit them again and you can't even quickjump. | |

Also all the chests have new stuff and all the search points are yet to be marked on the map in each alt world. It's an OCD gamer's nightmare! D:

| I really, really like the debt system.
It gives you a valid reason to take on these jobs and exterminate monsters.
I just wish it wouldn't use gald but, for example, increase your renown and open up locations because of that.
Although even though it does use gald, I'm pretty much really well equipped most of the time, and manage to repay the debt ahead on time.
Changing partymembers in the field would be great, but alas, I haven't the slightest idea why they went with this.
I was half suspecting Aifread's Treasures to be back, but I guess Jude, Milla and pals canonically got all of them in xillia 1.

| I'm enjoying the game more than I think I should be. It's kind of a big grindy Xillia fan service type of deal, but somehow it keeps me entertained with waiting to see what my cats brought back and the fact that I can go level up a lot with some kind of purpose behind it. The debt isn't feeling too annoying to me because I am way ahead on repayment. I like how deep Ludger is to play as with so many artes between his different weapons. | |

| So I'm just after Chapter 10 and I, like, finally saw some new areas and I gotta say...
Elympios is... really SMALL isn't it? I was so hoping that they would expand quite a bit on Elympios because it was just a small portion of the first game, but they've added like maybe a town or two. It's still absolutely dwarfed by Rieze Maxia even though the game is more Elympios focused this time

| Yeah; Elympios is supposed to be big but we don't see much of it. I also wanted to see more of Trigleph cuz like, it apparently has a subway! How cool would it be if the city was really huge and explorable! The game relies a little too much on recycling imo... | |

So uh, if I wanna repay the full debt... Somewhat spoilerish: - Spoiler:
do I have to do so before Chapter 14? I just hit Chapter 14 and the rest was paid off for me...? Does Ludger get slapped with the rest again later so I can continue paying it off?
