White knight chronicles and WKC 2

What does everyone think of them for those who have played them?

I've played both and went online with Fal sometimes!

Let me just say now that the actual storyline is medicore at best and what was the main selling point was the online side of things but unfortunately the servers went down in 2012. Beware that there's some post game content that's not longer available since they were only doable online. D:

If you're into creating your own avatar and like grinds then this is yer game. I still play WKC from time to time and having yer own knight in 2 is badass. Oh and if you plan on delving into the WKC series pick up 2 as it contains 1 with revamped battle mechanics. The flow of battles in vanilla WKC 1 are slow especially compared to 2 and the revamped version of 1.

I enjoyed both games but if you're more of storyline-driven person you might not like it as much.

If I were to give this a game a rating of 1 out of 10 with 5 being average, I'd give both a 6.5. Back when online was still an option it was an easy 7.5.

I looooved how the online had a message board, felt just like the first .hack games. Sadly I never got to finish the first before the online was turned off.

I'd say they're worth getting though.

The game was a blast with online, and it was great grinding through missions like JJB and DoP2.
Reaching rank 26 felt was a huge accomplishment, and was reaching platinum!!!!!!
I completed most of the quests online, and finished up with what I needed online with Sui on the last day and then cleaned up the Synthesizing or w/e offline. The game is near impossible to plat without hacks, and has much less content without online, though going it is worth going through the story, even if there were loose ends

The online community was fun as hell, sadly it didn't last, but anyways:

I play it 2 years too late. ; ; I can't play it online since the servers have been shut down. I'm just soloing rank missions. I'm GR 7 right now and I'm constantly soloing "Best served cold" to get my rank up. Are there better missions out there that can be soloed?
