been a whle since i last posted here.

pos: we made the reservation for our wedding venue.

Pos :had a good time with the in laws the past 2 days.

frik : we know we want to move out of this condo eventually and buy an actual house but we are debating when. this 2bedroom is fine for just fiancee and I but no way we are raising kids here. My fiancee is more in a hurry to move than i am.

For now we are window shopping, seeing what is out theyre in the market.

frik : I will be taking 4 classes this summer. Cannot wait to kick their butts!

Fick: Seeing all the people on FB freaking out over the FF15 demo and release date (one dude was excited about all the shit with the collector's edition!) is making me cringe. Like does no one remember how dangerous it is to overhype FF? And SE wants to make a movie and anime of 15 BEFORE it's even out?

The game's been hyped for almost 10 years Sui. It's really not impossible for those who have waited to not get super hyped for it. Especially when the release date is in 6 months.

All I want is Kingdom Hearts 3 tbh.

We all know how successful the previous FF movie turned out to be ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I can't say I'm hyped about the Anime since I know nothing about the game except that it's a boy-journey.

If the game turns out amazing, I'll be hyped for the Anime.

^The previous FF movie was Advent Children, not Spirits Within, and this next one will will be like Advent Children in that it's actually tied to a game.

That said, getting actual hollywood actors in it for characters that won't have the same voice in the game is dumb. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

I'm personally skeptical about FFXV even though I don't want to be. It looks like the gameplay is interesting and the sceneries are GORGEOUS, however, the stuff the one person said about WHY its an all male party has really left a bad taste in my mouth. It won't prevent me from trying the game out, but its also probably not a game I'm getting at launch. (I will be trying the demo tonight, half to get a feel for the game, but half because it guarantees Carbuncle LOL) I know FF has been really hit and miss, but the story looks like it could be good, and I'm one of those people that actually enjoyed the first two FF13 games ; P (though I enjoyed the story and environments in 13 I am also never touching it again, 13-2, though, I could keep going back to)

I agree about the VA's Tenshi, I feel like that's a dumb move.

Pos: School winding down
Neg: School winding down (70% of the people I know are graduating, 100% of my close friends, super happy for them but also next year will be scary-exciting fresh start at the exact same place before I graduate as well) Also means going back to the farm after exams, I was job searching, but I may be out of the country a lot (hopefully) so it would be kind of useless to get a job that i'd have to miss a month of out of 4 months

Neg: Procrastinating this project that's due tonight, I want to finish in an hour because I'm going to a thing with a friend...I'll get on that right after this post.

Pos: Really enjoying/enjoyed this last semester with my friends, making the most of these few weeks

I fucking hate celebrity "talent" in games and anime. This is the biggest offense since it actually ruins the player's experience, but I hate how this nonsense takes work away from people who can't normally get the high-paying roles that the celebs do on the regular. Not only are you wasting money that could've been spent better elsewhere on the project, you're actively making life harder for people with just as much talent, if not more, as VOICE actors.

Additionally, from a fan perspective, I feel like a lot of celebrities don't treat game and anime roles with the same respect as big screen roles, often-times when a game has released and the project has ended, so has their interest in it (unless they host some nerdy panels at cons.) If a celebrity was treated like the other voice actors and kept coming back just because they liked the game and wanted to participate in its sequels out of respect for the work, then I in turn would respect them. I can't think of any examples where this actually happens though.

Pos: Feeling somewhat better now. Beyond being depressed about stuff involving friends (or lack thereof, when it comes to offline) over the past few weeks I think I've also been burning myself out again, not to mention the winter lasting entirely too long all combined into one depressive cocktail.

It wasn't until walking home from getting groceries last night that I realized that not only was it the most painless grocery run in a while due to ACTUAL WARM WEATHER but I actually felt kind of GOOD.

I'm finally out of "f*** Everything" Mode again.

Pos: I can for sure say that I'm going to AX 2016 at this point.

Neg: 12 days left til the deadline for the AX AMV contest. Doesn't really seem possible anymore and I think maybe I should call it quits trying to even make the deadline. I think giving myself a deadline for the AMV has been contributing to burnout as I keep forcing myself to work on it even when I just can't focus.

Wat: It has been raining non-stop for the past 24 hours, causing the 3rd aquapocalyps in less than 6 months at work. By aquapocalypse I mean the road that goes to our hangar flooding (due to a beaver dam in a culvert), where it becomes difficult for normal cars to get through and onto the regular city streets. It was so bad tonight that the airport police escorted a bunch of us (in our cars of course) down taxiways and across a runway to the other side of the airport so we could get out to go home. Was pretty nuts lol...

Got wasted with some friends, worst feeling ever. First time having gin and whiskey so just chugged it down with soda and hit me hard on the bus back home. Think I vomitted like 4 times on the way home.

Still feel like crap atm
