3DS RPG recommendations?

So now that I've dropped 90 hours on Persona Q and am kinda sick of it, I need a new 3DS game to play. I have a few ideas for JRPG's, but I'm kind of unsure as to whether I'll like them or not. I'm currently debating between 3 different games...

SMT IV - I love the Persona and DDS games, but when I try to get into the main series games I always inexplicably get bored after the first hour or so, and I'm worried the same will happen with this.

Etrian Odyssey IV - I haven't played an Etrian Odyssey game but I liked Persona Q so I'm considering getting into it. I've heard they're incredibly hard, though, and idk if this is an ideal entry point into the series or not?

The Legend of Legacy - This looked cool but I've never played a SaGa game before and I've heard this game is pretty old school. I'm worried it might be too old school for me.

So, Reservia, which of these 3 games should I get?

There are demos for the latter two, and EOIV's demo lets you keep your save data in the full game (I think EO2U also has one?) I heard that Legend of Legacy doesn't live up to its inspirations, unfortunately. I wouldn't jump into SMTIV just yet with SMTIV: Final on the way, we don't fully know yet how much the original matters.

If you want a proper storyline you should probably get Etrian Odyssey 2: Untold, since you can play the game with a proper cast or play the remastered version of the original, and switch between them (the first EOU only has one save slot which is fucking stupid.)

Etrian Odyssey 3 and 4 are the best games in the series IMO, if you only care about the dungeon crawl and creating your own party I'd go with EOIV.

I'd wait for Txn to sound off though since I have a bad track record with actually progressing in these games (I basically stopped playing EO3 just to explore the ocean...)

Legend of Legacy is a bad Saga game. Its just a boring grindfest in a bunch of lame dungeons, with a pointless story (that goes nowhere until the final dungeon). Its oldschool in the worst ways. You're better off playing Romancing Saga 3, the Saga Frontiers, the Romancing Saga 1 remake on PS2, or The Last Remnant (on PC because its better then the 360 version).

Etrian Odyssey IV and Untold 2 are the best ones in the series.

Etrian 4 has smaller main dungeons but it's the most accessible in the entire series, also flying in the overworld and discovering extra dungeons is fun. Untold 2 story mode is way better than Untold 1, and it's actually easier in classic mode since choosing between all 14 classes can make certain parts a breeze.

I can't say anything about SMT 4 since I bought it, alongside all the DLC, but never finished it.

Also seconding about Legend of Legacy being boring. Played the demo but have no intention of getting the full game.
