Apples are good for wakefulness as well as staying hydrated. Making sure you blink and your eyes are moving around is important, as well as regular physical activity can improve long-term wakefulness. For temporary wakefulness if you have energy and you can do a couple jumping jacks to get the blood going. I'm sure there's other things too! I find talking helps keep me awake but can't always find people and can't always talk while studying.

Hey swordandshield! Welcome back! If caffeine is making your chest hurt, it's naturally best to stop. My wife goes through the same thing. She can't handle more than one caffeinated cup of coffee, so we just drink decaf. To help with the lack of energy, have you tried taking Vitamin B Complex supplements? This is a natural energy booster and it works really well for my wife.
